"We recently stayed here for a week and there were a few things prospective guests should know.
First, the resort places a $1,200 hold on your card for the duration of your stay. We were surprised by this because it was not clearly disclosed during the booking process.
Second, if you’re booking this property primarily for the beach, you may want to adjust your expectations. We found the beach area to be muddy with an unpleasant odor, which was disappointing and significantly different from what we anticipated.
The beds were also uncomfortable. We could feel the mattress springs, and getting a restful night’s sleep was difficult.
While the property itself has some nice features, these issues had a significant impact on our overall experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed given the cost of the stay and our expectations."
