Villa Maria Cristina - Torre delle Stelle - Sardinia Delightful and independent villa overlooking the long blue expanse of the Gulf of Cagliari and the Torre delle Stelle beach, reachable on foot in 10 minutes. It is located 30 meters from the sea and immersed in a lush flower garden of 1000 square meters. There are many relaxation areas, from which you can admire the sun that offers exciting sunsets over the sea. The most enchanting and unexpected comfort zones are: The solarium, with private swimming pool, outdoor shower and comfortable deckchairs on which to sunbathe all day; a terrace, a splendid place to live when you wake up, from breakfast, while admiring the boats and where, in the evening, the lights of the city of Cagliari illuminate the landscape as if they were stars; a patio, where you can relax in the shade of the flowering trees, ideal for reading a book, listening to music or simply for taking a nap after lunch. At 30 meters from the garden entrance, a path leads to the sea, in an ideal stretch for diving and "amateur" fishing, because it is very private: you will discover fabulous backdrops even in the first meters of depth! The interior is structured on three levels: Ground floor - A large and bright living room with sea view, is composed of two large and comfortable sofas which are located in front of the fireplace and the glass wall which leads to the terrace, 1 dining table and a piano; a terrace, overlooking the sea and the private swimming pool, and is set up to ensure the pleasantness of a convivial moment among guests; a eat-in kitchen (equipped with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, refrigerator and all the most common utensils) gives direct access to the external barbecue, for which wood is available; finally, a door to the lounge separates the living area from the sleeping area. In the latter there are a hallway with a bathroom (sanitary and hydromassage shower box) and 2 bedrooms (one single and the other double) from which you can directly access the garden. First floor - is entirely dedicated to the master double bedroom with sea view and to a bathroom with sanitary ware and a large shower. Second floor - 1 large sea view room with 2 beds with access to an independent terrace from which you can admire the entire bay of the Gulf of Cagliari; 1 bathroom equipped with all sanitary and a large shower. The location: Torre delle Stelle is a tourist village equipped with all the necessary services to spend a pleasant holiday. There are 2 markets, where you can also find excellent typical products (homemade!), 3 restaurants, an ATM, a pharmacy; a park with tennis, basketball, football, volleyball and children's playgrounds; 2 beaches equipped with kiosks and small bathing establishments. The condominium also offers a security service available 24 hours a day. Trips and excursions: Inside the village it is possible to do Fishing & Snorkeling, Water Skiing and Diving. On the beaches there is the possibility to rent inflatables, sup and surfboards. Less than 1 km away there is a riding school that organizes horseback riding on the beach and along the paths that go into the Mediterranean scrub. To visit: Villasimius - 18 km away there is a splendid location that offers true spectacles of nature such as: the Giunco, Riso or Punta Molentis and Cala Pira beaches, ideal for a day at the beach or for small excursions; in this small town, you can also find shops for shopping or buying souvenirs, as well as restaurants and night clubs where you can enjoy an aperitif after the sea. Costa rei / Cala Sinzias - at 28 km there are enchanting places like this, from which you can admire the sunrise rising from the sea. Cagliari - 30 km away is the capital of the island, a city full of attractions and in constant ferment. There are many historical places of culture, but also music festivals and temporary exhibitions that animate central districts such as La Marina, Stampace, Castello and Villanova. For any more detailed info, I will be really happy to show you what the best all these places on my beautiful island offer. The weekly price does NOT include the costs of electricity: 0,50 per kw. The costs of: final cleaning, towels and bed lines, swimming pool maintenance, linen, dishes, wii fii, wood for barbecue are included. How to get: Car rental: it is the choice I recommend, to have the opportunity to visit the many places that are nearby. Transfer: if your holiday is pure relaxation, with the intention of disconnecting from the rest of the world, this is the best choice. Any place of your potential interest in Torre delle Stelle is easily accessible on foot. The host Anna was just over any expectations. Excellent communication, everything was as promissed, the house was equiped with everything you could need. It looks even better than on pictures, italian sea charm with a soul. We had peaceful sleep every night. The location is perfect, 3minutes under the house is the sea with stones, comfortable and fun even for small kids, sand beach reachable in 7minutes by walk. We stayed here as a family of 5 with a 2,3 and 4 year old. Anna was wonderful, on our first night we arrived late to the Villa and she had prepared us a lovely meal and was waiting to greet us. Throughout our stay she went above and beyond to help us with any queries we had regarding the Villa, things to do and places to dine. The Villa had everything we needed and Anna had even provided us with some essential food when we arrived to keep us going. The area is lovely and peaceful and only a short drive to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Driving is essential as Anna had advised us. All in all we had a lovely two weeks at the Villa and surrounding beaches and restaurants. ##### Ben D. Anna is the perfect hostess and couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay memorable, even leaving 50th themed gifts with her extremely generous welcome pack! The villa is fantastic, with amazing views and sunsets. We didn’t feel the need to leave the villa every day as the pool area met all our needs. However, if you want to make the most of the area and it’s beautiful beaches, then a car is essential. There is a beach within walking distance with a great café, but there are bigger beaches a short drive away. Torre delle Stelle is a quiet resort and we would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday with stunning views. ##### MELANIE H. The place, the beaches, the scenery are simply fantastic! Anna was a perfect host. Available and great to chat to. But not at all intrusive. The house was the perfect size for 7 guests and in a great spot close to several 5\* beaches that could easily be reached on foot and by car. Spiaggi Giunco close to Villasimius (wild flamingo in the nearby lagoon ) was a real delight while Spiaggi Genne Mari similar and easily reachable on foot. Visits Aquarium hotel restaurant for great pizza. Find local goats cheese along the road to Villasimius or ask Anna about her friends home catering (excellent). We used the latter for a birthday party at the house. The whole island was a real gem for us. The rugged mountains, the drives and the hidden bays all added to a great holiday. We will be back. Die Treppen für ältere Gäste sind echt schwierig . Die Liegen am Pool sind Plastikliegen ohne Auflagen. 5 Minuten zum Strand stimmen schon nur kann man da nicht ins Wasser gehen. Das ganze Gebiet war vor 30 Jahren vielleicht echt was besonders, jetzt sind die Häuser aussen rum einfach runtergekommen. Das Haus ist echt schön und wenn man mit drei Paaren fährt ist es eine tolle Aufteilung vom Haus. Aber was für mich gar nicht geht wir hatten die schlimmste Situation im Leben, unsere Eltern hatten einen schweren Motorradunfall und der Vermieterin ging es darum dass wir den Müll bis zum auszug wegbringen. Dann kam der Vorwurf, als wir gebucht haben, hatten wir verschwiegen dass unser Hund mehr wie 10 kilo hat. Ich kann es belegen, dass ich angefragt habe mit einem Hund mit 30 Kilo. Was sie dann abgestritten hat. Fazit wenn es keine Probleme gibt schönes Haus aber wir waren schon öfters auf sardinien Wir hatten schon schon schönere Häuser für weniger Geld mit den besten Vermietern die sogar unseren papa im Krankenhaus besucht haben!!! Anna the owner was exceptionally helpful, flexible and friendly Communication was excellent - Anna was very responsive, easy to contact and provided plenty of useful information. We received a warm welcome and a very generous meal set out for us. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - we had everything that we required. The views from the villa are superb and there are several different places to sit and enjoy these - sunset from the upper terrace as others have mentioned was stunning! The pool was clean and inviting and we enjoyed our swims even though in mid-October the weather was not as warm as in summer. The location was great to explore southern Sardinia - our first visit to the island and hopefully not our last. Thank-you! ##### Liz B. Stayed 7 nights in Oct 2022 ### 4/10 Poor #### Hubert K. 25 Jun 2022 Liked: Communication, location Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy #### Haus, Garten und Pool leider sehr enttäuschend, Das Haus aus den 70er Jahren ist im Grunde sehr schön, doch leider wurde schon sehr sehr lange am Haus sowie im Garten grundlegend nichts mehr gemacht. Teilweise wurden einzelne Zimmer optisch hergerichtet, doch bei genauer Betrachtung und Benutzung fielen sehr schnell die oberflächlichen Reparaturen auf. Man kann durchaus in dieser Preiskategorie erwarten, dass wenigstens die Betten bequem, sauber (die Matratzen waren sehr verschmutzt) und je nach Zustand zeitgemäß ausgewechselt werden. Es wurde in mehreren Räumen sehr unangenehme Gerüche wahrgenommen. Auch in der Küche fallen die Schubladen auseinander, es wurde auch hier nur das notdürftigste erneuert oder repariert. Als wir eincheckten war das Wasser im Pool sehr trüb und der Garten sehr ungepflegt. Als wir Anna darauf hingewiesen haben, hat sie gleich reagiert und den Gärtner beauftragt, der dann am nächsten Tag kam, aber nur wieder oberflächlich die Arbeit entrichtet hat. Bei dem Pool meinte dann Anna, dass das ganz normal ist. Als wir dann den Pool selber gereinigt hatten, hatte Anna gemeint, dass wir aufgrund der Poolreinigung gegen die Hausordnung verstossen haben. Anna hat dann versucht Fehler bei uns zu suchen und behauptete unser Hund wäre im Pool gewesen, was aber nicht der Wahrheit entspricht, unser Hund hatte angst vor dem Pool Sie wollte uns den Nassmüll durchsuchen lassen, sie meinte dieser wäre nicht richtig getrennt. Wir wissen sehr genau wie Müll getrennt wird, das war dann einfach nicht mehr konstruktiv, den Müll haben wir dann ohne Probleme in der nahegelegenen Müllstation entsorgt. Es sind auch sehr viele nutzlose Einrichtungsgegenstände aus allen Zeiten die nur als Staubfänger dienen. Es sind von uns nicht nur Worte wir haben für alles dementsprechende Bilder gemacht. Für dieses Anwesen können wir guten Gewissens keine Empfehlung abgeben. Wir denken das Anna mit dem Anwesen überfordert ist. ##### Hubert K. It gives a lot of living space, a big kitchen and an outside area that most of us dream of. Nice clean swimming pool and several terasses to wine and dine.. And a view that is really breathtaking. We had a wonderful week, also because of the good care of Anna, the hostess of the house. The house was well prepared and clean, even the shopping for our first breakfast was already done.
