Sherwood Forest Lodge 2 is ideally located for exploring Robin Hood country which is seeped rich in history, and close to plenty of places of interest to visit.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Calor gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Front garden with patio and garden furniture. Hot tub for 3 (private). 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children.. Sherwood Forest Lodge 2 is a very smart, single-storey, detached lodge offers direct access to the National Cycle Trail and is adjacent to the expanse of Sherwood Pines and Sherwood Forest. The lodge makes a wonderful base for exploring the surrounding county, and adjoins the ruins of King John’s Castle. There are numerous attractions in the area, including Go Ape, go-karting, a public swimming pool, crown green bowling and a gymnasium. Also within a few miles are Rufford Abbey and Clumber Park, National Trust. The grand houses of Hardwick Hall, Newstead Abbey and Bolsover Castle are within 25 minutes’ drive. The Sherwood Forest Steam Railway and White Post Modern Farm will delight guests, and golf and horse riding are available 2 miles away. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

If you want peace and quiet in a lovely lodge then this is the place.
If you want peace and quiet in a lovely lodge then this is the place. Everything you need and spotless . The hot tub was a lovely way to end the day. I can’t fault this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The owners are always on hand if you need anything

Perfect choice for us.
Perfect choice for us. Rural location - easy access for walking with the dog, short drive to 'must see' locations such as the Major Oak, Steam railway. Hot tub was a great way to wind down after some good walks.Forest Lodge is very well equipped with all that we needed and we will definitely recommend that friends and family visit.

Lovely lodge.
Lovely lodge. Very clean and well equipped. The hot tub was a bonus. One small issue resolved quickly. Shame the nearby pub doesn’t allow dogs inside but that isn’t the owner’s fault. Also not overlooked and private. Highly recommended and we would love to return.
