"Lakehouse Dream Cottage was so wonderful!! Kim is an excellent host and all communications were fast and easy! The cottage is such an adorable, cozy, charming and welcoming place! Kim has really thought out everything, as far as the essentials and decorations! We easily used the turn-around at the top of the hill to turn our boat trailer around and back it down the hill. The public boat launch 1.5 miles to the west was nice and not isolated. There were so many loaded apple trees along Curtis Road and at the boat launch. We may have picked some to bring back for our "cottage momma deer and her two fawns!" We sprinkled them along the wood line at the top of the hill and it appeared as though they were a hit! (hint, hint for the renters after us!) The lake is just so beautiful and peaceful! We loved watching the eagles soar above the lake and the loons diving underwater! We were also lucky enough to see seven seaplanes take off from the lake! We would love to come back and rent again in the future! Thanks again Kim!"

"This home was beautiful and comfortable. It made me feel like I’d come home. We loved everything about it! The host was so easy to communicate with as well. The small heater/fireplace in the living room was so welcome on chilly mornings. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a wonderful time in the UP. The location was about an hour away from the highlights that were on our list, and the home and lake were a perfect place to return back to after a full day of hiking and swimming. I had two kids (4 and 1yo) who particularly enjoyed the sandy beach, canoe, and fire pit at the house. And the fast WiFi was also a plus! We would absolutely stay here again."

"The house was clean and ready for us at check in. Comfortably Accommodated my family of 7 plus our dog. House sits on a beautiful lake with great options to enjoy it—pontoon boat, kayaks, fishing boat & fishing gear. We used all of that and loved it! The lake & yard are definitely great features as well as the yard that has a fire pit with 8 Adirondack chairs, a nice picnic table and swings. Had trouble getting the wifi to work (password given was incorrect and internet service had a partial outage for a couple of days) but the management was quickly responsive & updated us each day. The only other cons I have are: …the white coffee maker doesn’t work; the water reservoir on the pod side of the duel Hamilton Beach coffee maker /pod coffee maker was not clean and had gross “gunk” inside of it and we didn’t get to use that because of it-The reservoir on the coffee pot side was questionable too; no mixer of any kind & no aluminum foil found although the description says the kitchen is fully stocked; alot of traffic noise from being right off a busy highway; the wooden deck steps on the back are warped and a little dangerous as a result & was not safe for my elderly mom. House has some great updates, including the floors, but needs a little more updating. The entrance being updated would really help with the first impression in walking up and for getting inside. Overall, there’s a chance we will return for the fun in the water and the great location to other adventures!"
