Price was very reasonable and location easy to find. Room smelled very musty, like the carpets were wet. Didn't take our shoes off until we climbed into bed. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Other than the musty smell, everything seemed clean. We didn't use kitchen, but bathroom clean, one towel in bathroom had stain. We did use the heater, which warmed up the room quickly.

The property was very nice, it had everything we needed and it was very clean. Only thing we would have liked better is a larger hot water tank but we would stay again. The caretaker we very nice and helpful.

It was a clean, big space that had everything that we needed. The host communicated well to us and check in was very easy. We enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker very much too! Thank you.

Great set up

This was a nice little place . Very clean and had everything we needed. Only thing that was an issue for myself was the shower. It's small and I'm a bigger guy. A hand held shower head would greatly improve the lack of mobility. Pretty sure I'll be back at some point

I really enjoyed my brief stay at the Country Studio. The room was clean, spacious and well-lit. It included everything that would be needed for a stay in the country with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, comfortable beds with extra bedding and a seating area. Kitchen supplies included a large selection of K-cups with creamer in the refrigerator. TV with streaming and WiFi supplied. When I signed up for the facility, there was no way to gain information from vbro but after I called Expedia, I was given contact information for the owner who emailed detailed information prior to my arrival (including his contact information). The apartment was located in a large renovated garage on a quiet side street in a small town where I felt very safe. In addition to being a clean, comfortable place to stay, the Country Studio was very reasonably priced!

Comfy Efficiency

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The studio apartment was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was warm and cozy. We would stay here again when we are in the UP.

The guesthouse was perfect for what I needed. The only thing I would have wished they had was wifi.

The reason for my visit was to sort through my Dad's estate after his passing. As you can imagine, it was a very difficult task. I was very happy to have a calm, clean secluded place to rest at the end of the day.

Decent but mislead

The property stated it had 2 king beds, but there was a single/ twin and a double or possibly queen. There may have been a pullout couch. Unfortunately, the beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was less than ideal. Carpeted, a cheap shower that I thought might collapse when I leaned on the wall, and a very short toilet. We didn’t use the kitchen, which only has a dorm sized fridge. Checkin instructions were lengthy and slightly confusing. Overall, disappointed.

Bugs, sewer smells, and no communications from property manager

Called property manager and left message with questions before arrival: no response or call-back. Arrived to find a disgusting smell of sewage attempting to be covered with another disgusting smell from a plug-in "air freshener"--I'm allergic, so unplugged. Tried to cook dinner and found that dirty dishes had been put away in cabinets; had to rewash everything we used. Got bitten by a spider in the bed. A roach crawled up my leg on the last morning. Glad to be out of there!
