The property was a classic rural setting a relaxed tone. It was placed out of town away from most noise but close enough to go to a nice resturant and othe amenities. It was clean, convenient and welcoming. We will repeat our stay there soon.

What a U.P gem!
I love this little hotel! My stay was only for 2 nights but the room was very comfortable, clean and the owner genuinely seemed to care for each guest as they checked in/out or were just getting a coffee in the lobby. He was very friendly and takes great pride in his work and care for the grounds of his hotel. I just wish I would have got his name! My only issue was that the walls and flooring are pretty thin and can hear every step of your neighbors and the sound of the traffic from the road in which the hotel sits off of. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend to my family and friends as a great place to stay.

Definitely staying again!
The cleanest motel we've ever stayed in. It was noticeably cleaner than the expensive AirBNB we just came from which had a crazy cleaning fee and so many responsibilities for check out. It was great to just arrive at Holiday to a very warm welcome from the proprietor and get some good rest before a long drive. The TV has sports so we were able to watch a NHL game which was a great surprise and the shower was really clean and good water pressure. The provided coffee in the office in the morning was strong and a wonderful start to our day. Thank you again! We'd for sure stay during another trip to the UP, it breaks up the drive great - and downtown Manistique is super cute and has lots of dining options compared to other towns you could overnight in!
