You just can't beat this spot, steps from Lake Michigan but tucked away down a quiet City street. You'll feel at home from the minute you walk in. Recently updated with lots of great features and furnishings, the home stands alone to other properties in the area. Surrounded by quiet nature you'll see abundant wildlife but still be near Downtown and the Beach. Enjoy warm evenings on the large back deck or around the fire pit. And the kids will have their own space in the comfortable, dry furnished basement. AMENITIES INCLUDE: central air conditioning, gas grill, basement game room with foosball table, large back deck and yard with fire pit, lots of board games. Wifi and Smart TV included. The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. A drip coffee maker is available for guest use. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies, and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products. LOCATION: Don't miss out on this unique home... It is one of the closest rentals to Manistee's popular Fifth Avenue Beach and Harbor Village without actually spending the price of being there. Under a mile to Downtown Manistee. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely. Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy. For safety reasons, there may be external security cameras in use. The location was very close to the beach via drive (possibly not a bad walk, but with three small kids, we needed to drive). The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed (ie plenty of towels, nice beds, plenty of storage, washer/dryer). Very clean and perfectly located with deer visiting us every morning. I enjoyed taking morning walks to the beach. The only issues that I had were that a blind in one of the bedrooms was missing a significant amount of slats. I took a picture for the owner and secured a hand towel to cover the area. The owner did offer to send someone out to repair but I felt uncomfortable with having someone at the home when we weren't there. The second issue was the kitchen is minimally stocked. A suggestion is to let future guests know so that they can bring additional cookware as needed. Thanks for the opportunity. We will definitely be back! ##### Debby C.
