The only problem was the room we stayed in must have been close to a generator or water pump so was making loud humming noises every 15 minutes. We got a good deal on Expedia so the room was about £9 a night, which was definitely worth it. The staff are lovely, breakfast is really good, hot water is on and off and there were a fair few power cuts but what can you do about that! Tried to find a place to purchase air tickets and money changers but they didn't have any idea. Language can be a barrier. No food areas around. Very dusty and noisy street. Typical breakfast where items that have been cooked are not kept warm so consequently are cold. Egg station does provide fresh cooked eggs. Westerners like their food to be hot. We did have to leave early for home due to illness. Hotel was clean and AC worked fine. It was perfect. The hotel arranged for a taxi and the buffet breakfast was tasty. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The hotel is a bit dated, but well maintained. The included breakfast was delicious (egg station, plus fried rice, noodles, greens, salads, fruit, banana cake, toast, etc). It takes time to be trained to serve on efficiency and the supplied breakfast has room to improve on quality and quantity.
