Needs a complete refurb and a decent cleaner.
Greeted by a pile of dirty bedding and towels in the room, phoned to tell the owners who did nothing about it. Very very dated and not in a quaint way. Not clean at all. Fortunately it was only a one night stay before we flew out on holiday early the next morning. I would not recommend to anyone. Floorboards are ridiculously creaky, if anyone gets up in the night, everyone is woken up!

The place is functional for a night before an early flight, not for a romantic trip away. There are no frills, and a little concerning, no staff on site. Keys are in the room on arrival, most disconcerting was the front door was left open and unguarded all night. I might up my price bracket next time.

After reading other reviews, was very apprehensive about staying here, before arriving we couldn’t contact anyone regarding checking in as none of the given phone contacts worked. The stay itself was adequate to our needs and for an overnight stay, (a place to put our heads down for a few hours) bed was comfortable, room clean if dated, facilities ok considering the price paid. Not the Hilton but not those prices either.

Room was large a bit tired but ok , the heating was on full blast and no obvious way to turn it down , the corridor outside our room reeked of smoke and the smell would come into our room in the night. Also no shuttle service as described and they recommend a taxi service that charged me £18 for a five minute drive , in comparison I jumped in a black cab at the airport and that only cost £9 , On the plus side I was supposed to be charged £20 for leaving my car there but was never asked for that .

Warning dont stay !
This hotel is a health hazard the rooms are not cleaned nothing wiped down hair and dirt everywhere. Asked them to clean our room , had to leave key for room as they only had one. Came back and was locked out for 2 hours on new years eve. Got the key thrown at me and tutted at me. The kitchen you can not cook in it. So dirty there was a dead spider in the fridge and gone off meat and food. No had sanitizer at all. Place had drug pipes on the front step. Loud music played till earlier hours.

Weird place
This was a strange stay. We arrived and the host was outside on his phone. I know this because I called the number on the front porch as they had no front desk and his phone went off. What was weird was that the guy went inside and took the call even though we were stood next to him outside. Before we had even arrived the place had emailed asking how our check in was, which also made no sense. Sheets were dirty. Sharing a bathroom on another floor with many guests. To top it off we tried to use their number for a taxi and was told 30 minute wait. I booked the place to be near to the airport as we had an early flight but I would implore everyone to stay in Manchester centre as they have early trains from there to the airport and you won’t have to stay in this bizarre place.

No consideration for the customer / traveller
I let them know I would be arriving around midnight. No contact from OYO prior to my arrival, No onsite staff, No Reception Person, front door wide open, I thought I might sleep in the chair in Reception, managed to get on WIFI in the Marriott Hotel up the street and Contact somebody by WhatsApp. They got me my Room Number and told me the Room Door was open (key inside). Room / General Interior "tired" and in need of a refresh! Very disappointed with very low service level and lack of consideration for the Client. Hope this is not OYO's Operating Model generally!

U get what u paid for
If u what just a bed to sleep on or early morning fright to airport then this is good lace to stay n go don't expect any service or quality at all

Rooms comfort 9/10
My room was very comfortable and spacious. Decor a little outdated. No personal contact with staff all communication by phone email and SMS.i found this ok. The lobby a bit shabby. But value for money I would definitely use again. Taxi to airport £15.00. Short walk to a few shops and restaurants about 10 mins on foot.

Close to airport, comfortable, reasonable
This is a converted house with no reception. There was a mobile number on the door to call on arrival. This was answered promptly, and I was given the room number- the room was open with the key inside the door. The room was spacious and had something of an air BnB feeling rather than a hotel. For the price paid, and the convenience of location for an early airport start I would say again- this was a 9pm arrival for a 6:30 am flight the following day. When I left the front doors were open, (I don’t think they are ever locked) and so if you are a nervous traveller then this might not be for you.

Avoid!
Avoid at all costs! I contacted the hotel to get my check in details and nobody available to talk to. Hotels.com attempted to contact the hotel and were also unable to do so. It took hotels.com 4 attempts to get in contact with the hotel to sort my refund!

Great value close to the airport
Easy no contact check-in. The room was large with a huge TV and a couch to sit on to watch it! The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean. We were able to walk next door and eat at 1 of 3 restaurants at the Marriott. The listing claims airport shuttle, but you have to arrange and pay for it. It's a great value even with the cost of the shuttle.

I booked in and paid for the room a couple of weeks ago, then at 8:17pm the night before I was due to check in I got a call telling me that the property was no longer available due to maintenance works. I called the hotel and got told that the room had been double booked and I couldn’t stay but the hotel had no interest in helping and told me to phone OYO in India (where bookings are managed) or call Expedia. I called India and there also had no interest in helping, I then called Expedia but after being on hold for 15 mins I put the phone down and booked elsewhere. I still do not have my money back, and have just delete the Expedia app and will never use this service again as it has just added stress and problems to my short stay

Property was in a nice quiet location However, there was no-one at reception in the evening- I am not sure if this is normally the case, or just because of COVID Woud have been nice to see a human However, there was a telephone number available The hotel description clearly said breakfast was included- that was a big reason in stayng at the hotel. But when I checked in, I was told there was no brekfast due to COVID. COVID has been going on for months, so if there was no breakfast, then it should not have been advertised as such. If someone gets low blood sugar and relies on a breakfast, then it causes problems Nor were there a kettle or beverages in the room I do intend to stay again, so hopefully the hotel will be able to sort it out by then

No one there at check in desk. Another guest gave a a number to call in Indian. Room was not cleaned nor beds made up. Be aware of booking a shared room. The bathroom is upstairs and could be for 11 people to share. I made the mistake of not booking en-suite, just took it for granted that they all were. It had been a fantastic house at one time. Very close to the airport. Don’t make my mistake and you’ll be ok.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast rubbish.
The room was clean and comfortable but when I went for breakfast there were no cereals that I liked and someone had put a 4 pint of sour milk in the fridge when I went to put it in my coffee it came out in lumps.

Booked what I thought was an ensuite but it wasnt. On a positive note our room was huge with ample room and furniture. Only thing was we could hear the upstairs occupants walking around at 6am but overall nice place to stay, bed was really comfy.
