Overnight stay prior to catching a flight the next
Stayed overnight prior to a flight the next day. Arrived with 3 cases, no offer of help with them on checking in, but a staff member saw me struggling at the lift and told me to wait and she would get help, which did arrive and advised me to ring reception for help in the morning. Help came promptly when requested.
I decided to have a meal in the bar, it took over half an hour to arrive. It was a chicken dish in a bun plus chips. The chips were piping hot, but the chicken was tepid, rather as if they had forgotten my order when it was ready. The waiters were clearly busy and only when a waiter came by to clear my plate was I able to express my concern about the tepid chicken. He said he would report it, but I heard nothing more.
The room was clean and comfortable and did fill in the room questionnaire commenting as above.
I felt that as an elderly lady travelling alone that I fell beneath the radar as far as attention was concerned!
