Beautiful location
My husband and another couple arrived at Irish Beach rental and found the kitchen to be very dirty. The house also smelled like mold. The kitchen lacked a lot of key items to cook with. Luckily my friend Grace was smart and brought pans, strainer, and other items from home. The hot tub never got hot- even though the gage said 105. It was around 90 degrees. The location was awesome and we made the best of our trip.

Views are 8/10 but the home is 5/10.
Great views from the deck and the beach was very cool with all the drift wood. The deck is showing signs of age with screw heads sticking out of the wood (wear shoes when outside). Outdoor furniture is falling apart, the table is rusty and unstable. Inside was somewhat clean, carpets were still damp when we arrived. Furniture is really getting bad and uncomfortable but the TV had Netflix and other Roku channela to watch if you're into that. Electric fireplace worked to keep you warm when sitting in front of it. The neighborhood is quiet and people, when we did see them, were kind. All in all we had a good weekend away from the valley heat. On our last day, the fog rolled out and we had an amazing view down the coast to the light house.

Great location. Peaceful and Beautiful View, Point Arena Lighthouse can be seen. Wish we would have seen the beach sounds Great! 5 Star Service and Beyond from Sandy, Gorden and Ryan!!! Much Thanks Forever Grateful!!!

House was not clean
When we stayed the whole home smelled of pet urine, even the blankets on the beds. The furniture and towels were all very old and musty smelling. The beds and couch were way past their useable life, sagging, and uncomfortable. The neighborhood is lovely obviously but I’ll never stay at this house again. I contacted the property manager about my feedback and received no response.

Wonderful time with family in a beautiful location
We had a wonderful time in a relaxing and serene setting. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean views and returning after a day of fun to hot tub and enjoy peaceful strolls in the neighborhood. Hope to return soon!

Weekend trip
No satellite tv, even though the listing said it had it. The dish was rusted and barely hanging on the house. The pull out sofa had broken springs and my husband had to fix it with zip ties so that our daughter could sleep on it. Other than those two issues it was an ok place to stay.

Comfortable Home with ocean view.
We stayed in Ocean Sunset for 6 days. It is a comfortable home in a good location, but was in need of some maintenance. Several shades did not open and the sliding glass door was EXTREMELY hard to open and close. It was clean with the exception of the interior of the refrigerator. The kitchen was well stocked, but there was an inadequate supply of kitchen towels, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper and bath soap. The beds were comfortable. The living room was light and well decorated with a newer carpet. The hot tub was very clean. We enjoyed our stay in Irish Beach. It is a lovely spot for those who want to relax and enjoy nature.

Beautiful get away from the hustle bustle of city life
The house is located in a beautiful setting. Ocean view right of the balcony and mountains on the other side of the house. Best of both worlds, very quiet and serene. Pet friendly and private beach if you love the waters. You have deers visiting the backyard in the mornings. Would recommend to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Wifi and direct TV included , if you want to connect back to your world.

Don't book it for the hot tub
This little house is nicely equipped with all kitchen utensils you need and plenty of linens and bedding. The two queen beds are comfortable. The furniture in the living/dining room is worn and could use some updating. The carpet was clean, but overall the house could use some TLC and a deep cleaning. The hot tub was just warm on the first day, got hot on the second day and stopped working on the third day, which was very disappointing. Bring charcoal for the grill! Irish Beach is a tiny and quiet coastal community with a beautiful pond in walking distance. The beach is very close and you get access to a private community beach which is a short drive. People are very friendly. Plan ahead with your groceries, just one market close by and no restaurants. Some cafes were closed. The casino serves fast food only. The drive to Ft. Bragg along highway 1 is about 1 hour. Visit the beautiful Cabrillo lighthouse. Overall a very nice and relaxing stay.

A Lovely Escape for Four!
This was a super fun escape for our family of four and our dog, Nugget. My kids are ages 5 and 9. The property itself was clean and comfortable, plus we adored having our own hot tub and used it every day. The BEST part though was the private community beach across the street, going down a paved road closed to cars and having miles of shore to run around on and build really cool log forts (TONS of structures along the beach, my kids had a blast). We went there all three days as well. In addition to enjoying the hot tub and private beach, we did a visit to B. Bryan Preserve to feed the giraffes (highly recommend, so fun), enjoyed a seafood dinner in Mendocino, and did a bit of dog/kid friendly wine tasting both at Lula and Navarro wineries. A few things that would have made the place more enjoyable- some kind of guestbook or guidebook with trail recommendations for walking/exploring, local eating recs (you really have to dig around to figure out what to do, where to eat/go). Also, some Adirondak chairs on the patio to enjoy this beautiful space and clearer instructions for the fireplace. Thank you though, I would definitely come back!

Location and comfortable of property was as expected. Property had lots of windows and great natural light. However, many essential items that should be standard were missing including a thorough cleaning of the property. You can see visible dirt and smudges on light switches and around door handle. The lamps inside bedroom that served as reading light as well as two of three lamps in living had broken or no bulbs! Hottub is next to front door and sits between house and neighbor to the south. Most disappointing was hot tub had room/cold temperature water. This was the one thing that my mother and wife had looked forward to and a reason for our booking. We all were thoroughly disappointed to discover it did not work. Called to “emergency” property personnel for support with hot tub checked or bring over lightbulbs went unanswered.

Beautiful views and very nice cabin!
Great location and fantastic views. Very relaxing and well appointed. . It would help tremendously if WiFi was available given that these days that is more of an expectation than a luxury. We would absolutely stay here again and are already looking forward to our next stay.

The house is already a winner with its panoramic views of Manchester Beach all the way to the Point Arena Lighthouse. Then there's its huge deck, fireplace, and hot tub. Atop that, the place is absolutely immaculate, with a lovely kitchen, new carpeting, and very comfortable beds!
