You'll love this gorgeous 5,400 sq. ft. 6 -bed, 7 bath former bed and breakfast inn - sleeps 12-14! Every room has its own bathroom! 6 fireplaces, great outdoor patio with fire pit and seasonal grill. Four bedrooms have in-room gas fireplaces and four have jetted tubs making the property a great place for reunions, family vacations and special celebrations. No fighting over the bathrooms!

Greybourne House features high speed internet WiFi throughout, with extra boosters to ensure coverage across the large home. Smart, flat screen televisions equipped with Xfinity cable channels are in each bedroom, living room, basement game room and kitchen.

Two large living areas between the main floor living room and basement game room den give options galore. Kids and adults love the large recently updated basement game room with its natural light from full size walkout French doors and new side patio. The large space provides extra entertainment area with a pool table, 65" tv and bar area complete with refrigerator and wine chiller. New paint, rugs and furnishings make this a favorite hang-out area. Games and playing table including variety of board games are available.

On the main floor you'll find cozy living areas recently updated with paint, new lighting, and updated furniture. Gorgeous gas fireplace in living room. The chef's kitchen has an eat-in area with bar stools, two ovens and two large refrigerators and is stocked with cooking tools and appliances. For the coffee and tea lover, includes an electric kettle, a coffee grinder, and three coffee maker styles: Keurig cups, whole pot ground coffee and Nespresso pod coffee with a milk steamer. The main floor living area has a new sofa and loveseat, a 65” TV and both formal and informal dining options.

The six bedrooms all have new carpet and new Sealy Posturepedic mattresses (2021) with special mattress pads for extra comfort. The master bedroom (king bed) and one secondary bedroom (queen bed) are on the main floor; the other four bedrooms (3 king and 1 queen) are on the second floor. Master bedroom has large walk-in closet and bath, perfect for preparing for special occasions. All bedrooms have bathrooms and closet storage. Designed for 12 adults, home can accommodate up to 14 with sofa bed in basement den. There is a full bath in the basement.

Oversize 2 car garage with remote control access has ample room for outdoor recreation equipment storage and convenient parking and entry out of the elements. Perfect place to plug in your ski boot warmers!

With its large outdoor patio and grounds on over 3 acres, the backyard is stunning in spring, summer and fall, and a snowy paradise in winter. Propane grill and fire pit on back patio along with outdoor seating at two tables with umbrellas available seasonally, (availability subject to weather and safety considerations).

Just off route 7, Greybourne House is close to great restaurants, three great hiking trails (Prospect Rock which is accessible by foot from the house, Lye Brook Falls and the Long Trail), major downhill and cross-country ski areas (providing great hiking in summer) including Bromley (10 min), Stratton (less than 20 min), Okemo and Mt. Snow and Wild Wings CX in Peru, VT. Unbeatable location!! Just 9 minutes from the Vermont Summer Horse Show. Golf at Equinox Golf Club, fly fish the Battenkill River or take a fly-fishing lesson at the Orvis headquarters with their own ponds. Bromley Mountain has lots of summer activities for kids including bungie jumping and a huge mountain slide. Explore the many restaurants- Pearl's Place and Pantry is right across the street, and it's just the tip of the iceberg for great dining, shopping and attractions in Manchester. Don't miss Hildene - the museum home of Robert Todd Lincoln- and the Southern Vermont Arts Center with classes and day camps for kids in addition to hosting the Manchester Music Festival. Just minutes from the Dorset Theater Festival. Most restaurants offer takeout and some deliver. Instacart is available in the area for groceries.

Vermont Family Weekend

Visited Manchester last weekend with the family and loved the area and our stay at the Greybourne House. It is perfect for a family get together-- it has everything you would need. We will definitely come back for another visit.

Excellent ski weekend

We are a group of friends who stayed at the Greybourne house for a long weekend. The house is beautiful and spacious, very clean and well maintained. Excellent response time and communication with the owner, would love to stay there again.

Wonderful Stay

Greybourne House was a fabulous place for the 14 of us to spend a week together. The house had it all - room to spread out, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, beautiful outdoor spaces - plus it was extremely clean. Allison has thought of everything to make this a perfect vacation spot. The location was great for exploring the Manchester area with its many hiking trails, shops, restaurants and historic sites. 5+ stars for sure!

Extended family bonding

A large group of us stayed at the Greybourne House for a wedding located nearby. It was fantastic! The game room was great place for the cousins to hang out and enjoy each other. The grounds were beautiful and we all enjoyed brunch on the patio before the wedding. The bedrooms were very spacious and each one had an extremely large private bathroom! The entire house was immaculate! We would definitely stay there again.

Great house, Great location!

This was the perfect property for our group of three families(6 adults, 7 kids ages 6-11) on a ski trip. The house is very well appointed, in excellent condition, and the layout with bathrooms in each bedroom was fantastic! This property is also perfectly located between the ski mountains and Manchester. We were all so happy with this property that we already booked it for the same week next year! Thank you Allison for providing such a comfortable stay in the perfect location!

Wonderful long ski weekend at this lovely home

This house was perfect for our group of 4 families (including adults and kids ages 10-13). The location was ideal for skiing (we went to Bromley and Stratton), as well as local restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and welcoming and we enjoyed the gift basket from the owners. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked for a large group like ours. Would definitely recommend this home to others!

Beautiful spacious house

We had a large group and we all enjoyed the house so much. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom en-suite and everyone appreciated that. The living room was the perfect size for all of us to spend time together and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The property was beautiful and well maintained after all the snow that had fallen. The check in and our process was very easy and we had an overall great time. We will definitely be looking to come stay here again next time we have a large group or multiple families.

Hard to top!

My extended family and I rent houses quite often so our large group can stay together. This is the best house we've ever stayed in. Clean, comfortable, huge, and with every amenity you could possible want. We never wanted to leave and we intend to go back soon! Allison was a fantastic host, timely answers to any questions we had. Don't think twice about renting this house- you won't regret it!

Great for a weekend getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay! This is the perfect place if you want the whole family to get together or host multiple groups all under one roof. The house was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The only two things that weren’t so great were that the basement area was a bit dirty (some bugs on the walls and accumulated hair on the rug) and the next door neighbor was smoking weed on a semi-regular basis (you couldn’t smell it inside the house but we got a good whiff upon taking our dog outside). All in, we would likely stay here again if we’re in the area and the house is available.

Fantastic Home for Family & Friends

This home goes above and beyond your expectations. It is beautifully decorated with lots of space. I would love to take the kitchen home with me. It has two large refrigerators and every dish, pot, or piece of equipment you might need. The dining room is gorgeous and even has beautiful china. There are huge TVs everywhere. The outside area and patio surrounding property is stunning. I can't say enough about this property and know if you stay there, you won't be disappointed.

All That and More

Having rented some really nice VRBO's over the years, even the best of them showed a bit more wear than advertised. Not this place. It's a former B&B and not some old creaky place, but rather a beautiful, modern property with comfortable, crowd pleasing furnings throughout. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked and the whole place demonstrates pride of ownership. The owner is completely accessible, though there were no worries with our stay. We'll be back, for sure.

Perfect Getaway Home

My family and I were looking for a nice, clean, spacious home, emphasis on 'clean'. The house surpassed our expectations and the owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and very special. The owner and caretaker were always very responsive if we had a question. The house was very clean, the home was nicely laid out, updated furniture, very comfortable beds and pillows (new and clean), the bathrooms were very spacious and clean and the kitchen was extremely well organized and clean. The pictures are exactly as they appear but much more! Everyone had their privacy and there was plenty of room to comfortably hang out. This is the perfect getaway house, great location, it felt like home but with a lot of extras! We can't wait to visit again!

Ideal Family Reunion Location

Our group of 9 senior adults spent a very enjoyable weekend here. This house was an ideal location for our family reunion. It was extremely clean, very well-furnished and kept in top-notch condition. All of the beds were comfortable. The house had a very nice balance of private spaces (6 bedrooms) and common areas (spacious den, beautiful dining room, comfortable game and TV room in the basement and a large, well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen had all of the pots, pans, cutlery, utensils, appliances, dishes and serving items that we needed to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We were all comfortable there and never felt crowded. The building manager was excellent. She proactively communicated with us on a regular basis and promptly responded to the few questions we had. The only negative was the unexpected traffic noise that came from the two major roads nearby. All in all, we could not have asked for a better site for our annual gathering.

This is our second time renting the Greybourne house. The house is just as amazing as we remembered it - spacious, clean, well stocked and located within a short drive to Stratton, Okemo or Killington. Allison is a great host - very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return again next year.

Thanksgiving in Manchester

We have now stayed at Greybourne house two years in a row, and it is a great house, beautifully furnished which is perfect for a large gathering of friends and family! The 6 bedrooms each has their own bathroom, and the common spaces are large and comfortable. Plus there is the huge basement that has a large TV viewing area (lots of seating), plus a game table and pool table, plus a bar and bathroom, so a subset of the larger group can gather down there for fun and games! And Allison is a great host, very available and responsive! We'll be renewing again for next year, which says it all!

Wonderful Property!

Everything is well appointed and thought out even down to the smallest detail of the guest book. The kitchen and dining room are equipped with everything you might ever need for a large group. Bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed the history and legends of the area on the plaques throughout the home. Our group of 10 was very happy with this home and the location..

The perfect place for a large group!

I traveled to Manchester with a group of lifelong friends and their partners for a wedding in nearby Dorset. Allison’s home was the perfect place to host our weekend! Everything about our experience was amazing - including the location, space, cleanliness, amenities, communication, and check in/out process. I would highly recommend booking for a large group and hope to return someday!

Top 3 of our VRBO experiences in our past 25 years of renting homes in the United States! As a former VRBO owner, expectations were set high, and Allison far exceeded them!
