This colorfully remodeled, pet-friendly condo is fantastically located between Eagle Lodge, Canyon Lodge and the Village at Mammoth, providing easy access to all the amazing year-round activities Mammoth has to offer! The town shuttle stops right near the complex making exploring town a breeze. This home offers self-check-in, parking (2 spaces), private laundry, fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace! You will love your stay at this Modern Alpine home! About the Space: This remodeled, 1100 sq. ft., 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom property has been decorated with midcentury modern furnishings making a bright and cheery space that comfortably sleeps 6 people, 2 dogs (maximum, no cats). The 2-story, pet friendly townhome has a phenomenal location on a private road, surrounded by pine trees, and just a few blocks from Eagle Lodge, Canyon Lodge and the Village at Mammoth. The open living area feels grand with high vaulted ceilings, expansive south facing windows and sky lights, and new hardwood oak flooring throughout. In the living room, there is a comfortable sofa, large flatscreen TV with basic cable and steaming/smart features, central heating and wood burning stove providing the perfect ambiance for all seasons. Off the main living area is a private patio to enjoy the fresh mountain air, with a free supply of firewood. The kitchen has been fully remodeled, with new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and quartz countertops. The kitchen comes stocked with everything you need to cook a nice meal. There is a dining room table with seating for 6, and breakfast bar seating for 3. Across from the kitchen is a designated workspace with a desk, chair, and lamp. The home has fast Wi-Fi for seamless remote work. The lighting in the home has all been updated to create a space that balances ambiance and functionality. There is a remodeled full bath on the upper level, with quartz countertop vanity, heated tile floors, and walk-in shower. Both bedrooms are located downstairs off the main entry. The first bedroom offers a queen-sized bed with a twin sized trundle. It has a full-sized dresser for clothing space, flatscreen TV with smart features, and a sliding glass door with access to a private patio. In the closet are private in-unit laundry with stackable washer/dryer. The second bedroom offers a queen-sized bed with a twin trundle, and a full-sized bed. This room also has a full-sized dresser and flatscreen TV with smart features. In the hallway off the two bedrooms is a full bathroom, remodeled, with large quartz countertop, heated tile floors, and tub/shower. We provide coffee, coffee filters, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, and cooking oil. We also provide all linens and towels, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, soap, lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, dish soap, dish detergent, sponges, trash bags, laundry detergent, firewood, fire starter and matches. My spouse and I, along with extended family and a small dog, were in town for some spring skiing at Mammoth. The location was perfect, just a short drive or trolley ride to Eagle Lodge base area. The 8-year-old and I enjoyed discovering all the different hexagon shapes in the condo, many more than shown in the VRBO photos.We were also pleased that we found a dog-friendly condo and hope that future renters do not let their dogs damage the property (scratches on doors) or bother the neighbors (barking) as past renters have done. In the unit, a nice note from the owners asks renters to not leave their dog(s) unattended in the unit while out enjoying the area. This was not a problem for us, as our dog is used to staying in the van while we're out exploring. I suggest that the VRBO listing make clear that if you're bringing a dog, you should plan to not leave your dog alone in the unit.Communication with the management company was great. Upon check-in late at night, we notified them that the skylight above the kitchen was leaking, and we got a call back several minutes later saying they were aware of the leak and had reported it to the HOA. While not a huge incovenience, we did need to place some bowls on the floor to catch the drips during our stay.The unit is spacious and eclectically decorated, and the wood-burning stove was a nice perk. We would definitely rent this unit again if ever back at Mammoth! ##### Becky F.
