"Wonderful and peaceful place. Amazing onsen, both inside and outside in a private garden (depending on room) the food was very traditional Japanese and using good ingredients. Lovely place to be. The windows where letting the sound from the river in making it feel like glamping in a good way, very good ac and lovely bed/futon."

"Quiet. Staff was friendly and let me check out late. Fairly clean. Questionable stains on the walls and on the floor but at least the bed was clean. Bath was good. Not too many places to eat in the area. Hakurakuten nearby had good food and the staff was nice. "
