"We checked in and were placed on the 2nd floor upstairs with very rough entry. The room had a very stained bedspread and the lamps did not work. The shades were actually just sitting on the light bulb. After a few minutes we gathered our gear and headed out, returning the key to the very nice lady at the front desk. She apologized and told us she could not refund our payment. We drove down the road and checked into a different hotel. Sad our stay didn't happen because of the smell of marijuana and the dirty atmosphere. "

"We absolutely loved our stay. The property is so beautiful, so well maintained and well stocked. The kitchen makes you want to cook which is good because you’re far from any good restaurants or stores. The bed and everything was comfortable. The owners have thought of everything. Great communication with the host. A great place to rest and enjoy the view. "

That couch is amazing and the fact that all the chairs in the living room were recliners? EVERYONE was able to kick up their feet to relax!"

"The property was pet friendly and the host was very communicative and helpful. The house was clean and had quite an old farmhouse charm. The fenced yard was wonderful too. Really the only thing missing was a washer and dryer and I must have missed it when I read the listing that there was not one available. The neighborhood isn't as rural as the listing alluded to in the pictures. But the neighborhood was quiet, walkable, people were friendly. There was a wild turkey that visited the yard, lots of squirrels and birds. Overall a good value and I would stay there again."
