Great hotel with good facilities especially as it’s out of season. The cycling garage is a great addition and one of many reasons I’ve stayed more than once. This hotel could accommodate any type of holiday.

Ok hotel but offer around makes it a hard choice
The cleanliness of the hotel is a big issue, it is not well cleaned. Also the rooms are becoming dated and not fully well kept, several parts of our room where detached or badly attached and evident (towel hanger for example). The high point of the hotel was a front desk guy, Tomeu, which was super helpful at all points.

Room was good, nice clean modern bathroom with plenty of room. The pools were great, the kids loved them. The only downside was the lack of sun loungers - if you wanted a lay in and leisurely breakfast then there would be no loungers left by the time you get to the pool. The staff were great, especially the ones who help out with the kids - the only exception were the poolside bar staff/waiters who all seemed pretty grumpy (all the time!). All in all would recommend for families with kids - but would not recommend for couples without kids.

The hotel was VERY disappointing. It is very old fashioned and dated. The room was small and because it is old the air conditioning is barely adequate and the rooms are not sound proofed. You can hear everything. The pool is very noisy and crowded. The worst thing for me was the lack of seating in the main hotel, other than the lobby there was nowhere really to sit and relax. I sat in the lobby most nights and got eaten by mosquitoes, it’s a real problem. If you don’t want to sit in the noisy outside bar you have to sit in the dated lobby or in the rows of uncomfortable chairs. All in all pretty uncomfortable. I can’t inderatand how this is a 4 start hotel. proximity to the beach.

Great stay. May adapt somewhat to specific needs
Very good facilities. Clean , well organizar. Food good. (Very much like similar hotels/all-inclusive) The only comment is availability of gluten free food. Could be more variety, flexibility and adapt to Specific customer need.

Plenty of swimming pools to choose from however the adult and indoor were slightly lacking in maintenance as the both offered jaquzzi facilities however neither worked..

The worst hotel I’ve ever been to! This is not a 4 start hotel it’s 2 star. I’ve been to many places and many 4 and 5 stars hotels. First off the pools were not well kept and children were washing themselves with soap in the indoor pool which creeps everyone out, nobody was there to manage indoor pool. The hotel itself and the room were smelly. The building is quite worn. Staff were not polite. The hotel is nothing like the pictures, Sorry but won’t be back and never recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was lovely and also the staff. The apartment was cleaned every day. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the hotel so can’t comment on that! Lots of pools and amenities to keep the children entertained. The entertainment at night was very limited however this maybe due to our holiday being early on in the year? Would definitely return.

We couldn’t go on our trip due to illness. The hotel wouldn’t help us, wouldn’t change or amend the booking and wouldn’t cancel. Yes they will say we had a non refundable rate but hiding behind a policy is actually extremely poor customer service. They would have lost nothing by allowing us to change to another date. I am a repeat customer of this hotel but now will never return. Very poor. Abtrupt and inappropriate tone of emails. They took our money and provided nothing. Immoral practices and unempathetic. These people don’t care.

> the spa had to be turned on which took a while to heat up to temperature > while waiting the spa pool was full of unaccompanied children jumping in and out, so not relaxing > the 18+ pool (part of the reason why we booked this) was full of children and loud adults > children’s pool-no kids in it! > reception staff said they changed the rules, pitty this wasn’t updated on the websites > had to find our own table at breakfast and dinner > children running in the restaurant > food was good > bar staff were great > room cleaner left any dirty glasses > not a 4* more a 3

Bad bar service
Slow service at the pool bar could have been acceptable if only the servers had a least made eye contact, maybe said sorry for your wait and a polite thank you when signing the bill. We gave the pool bar service 3 attempts, the 3rd being as bad as the first so that was our last. Plenty of bars in the surrounding area with nice welcoming and polite staff. A good, well placed hotel let down by the staff. One young woman was totally belligerent, obviously did not want to be there and did not want to help in any way.

Good hotel in a great location.
The hotel was clean and spacious. The room and balcony was a good size and the kitchen had everything you need to cook a small meal. Really good location, about 1-2 minutes to the beach and shops. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment there. Entertainment looked good. The only small thing to let the hotel down was the lift system. It was small and old and I kind of dreaded getting in them. However it would not stop me from going back. The staff were efficient and the pool area was really good. Enough beds in September and the pool was fun.

Great base for cycling break
Excellent bed very comfortable. Even provided washing up liquid in apartment. Good cycle centre to store your bike with tools and pump free to use.

Clean, friendly, good food
Second time staying at the Zafiro Tropic, good spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Room was cleaned almost every day to a high standard. We stayed half board and the selection of food was very wide and varied each night, it was all presented well and was very good quality. The only slight downside was the fact that you couldn't pay for your drinks by cash but would be put on to your room but this would not be enough to put me off coming again.

Ideal for the beach
Pay the extra for pool view: quite noisy in the rooms overlooking the road!! Otherwise great value for money. Lots of shops on doorstep for food and other provisions Loads of bars and restaurants within walking distance I recommend this hotel

Had a great week away,the hotel is in a good location for restaurants and the beach. The room and pool areas are great,stayed self catering so didn’t use the hotel restaurant the bar prices were really expensive and the room next door got warned to keep the noise down eg loud music and shouting down the corridor at 4 in the morning but that just carried on!!

In a good location, a walk to town and the beach
Had to wait ages to be served as the receptionist was more interested in playing with children rather than doing her job. Receptionist was totally disengaged, took phone calls whilst serving us. We had booked a studio twin in March and this had been given a double. When we asked to be given the room that we had booked, we were told by the receptionist that our booking stood for nothing and was not a guarantee that we would get that room. None of the hotel facilities were pointed out to us, no assistance was offered to us. The customer service was incredibly poor. The pool appeared to be closed as the spa facilities were overrun by children. We did not eat at the hotel, we had wanted to have breakfast but were quoted £18.90 per person per day, which seemed extortionate.

Had a lovely week at Zafiros. Staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet was excellent. We'll definitely visit again.
