Nice hotel with excellent location

Posted 25-Oct-2016
Location: The hotel was in the middle of the 'Pine Walk' area which overlooked the bay and restaurants and bars along the walk. The market square is close by too
We stayed in a side sea view room on 4th floor. The room wasn't big but was adequate with modern furnishings and a balcony. It could be noisy from time to time with the service vehicles passing by but it probably only happened to the rooms at the side. The bathroom was spacious with hair dryer and other amenities but without an extractor fan. Although we didn't use the swimming pool, we were to take pictures as it offered a lovely view of the bay. The breakfast buffet was lovely with so much to choose from and I particularly loved the quality of their fresh fruits and choice of veg. The hotel had evening performance in the bar area - classic Spanish guitar and it was magical!

Old-established hotel, close to the beach

Posted 18-Oct-2016
Pros: Location; slightly 'old-fashioned' feel to the traditional bedroom doors, combined with modern facilities otherwise.
Cons: Lifts probably need upgrading
Location: Location - close to beach and promenade. Town centre location. More importantly, close to some very important nature reserves and bird-watching sites
I went there because Port Pollensa is a convenient centre for bird-watching, my main purpose in going. The hotel was picked on a combination of facilities. location, and value. Overall the stay in the hotel was very pleasant. The staff (especially Reception staff) were very friendly abd helpful. The buffet style meals were good, with a good range of choices.

In need of more than a lick of paint.

Posted 01-Oct-2016
Pros: It's as clean as it can be and the Wifi should you need it is excellent.
Cons: Rooms are in major need of modernisation.
Location: On the main strip at the start of the Pine Walk, plenty of restaurants on the strip all with the same menus, small beach adjacent longer one right.
If you were thinking of booking this hotel on your experience of using the outside terrace then you'll be deeply disappointed. Our room was large in size but it looks as though little has been updated since the 1980's including the beige bathroom suite which flooded the floor each time we showered. The double bed (two singles pushed together) was comfy, there was a small balcony and my favourite quirk was the safe that was over six feet in the air on the top shelf of a wardrobe, how'd you'd use it if you were a little wobbly on your feet is beyond me? The plus sides are the maids do there best to keep it spotless and to be fair all the staff at the hotel are great and the wifi is excellent for Free Wifi in Hotels.

Nice hotel very good location

Posted 30-Sep-2016 on Ebookers
Very nice hotel . At breakfast there was a massive spread of everything you wanted. Rooms were lovely . We had a sea view on the 5th floor with the biggest window and balcony ... has to ask to have the floor swept in the room when we arrived but other than that very clean and comfy . If your Going slightly out of season the age group we're defiantly the over 50's.

Nice hotel, well situated in Port de Pollensa.

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Pros: Central location with free parking nearby. Good breakfast selection. Helpful, friendly staff
Cons: Pool opening times could be extended - currently 9am - 6pm. Maybe 8 - 7.30 would be better?
Location: Good central location on seafront with wide selection of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Excellent quiet beaches close by.
We stayed here 6-13th Sept. The hotel is centrally located on the seafront with its own swimming pool with pool/cocktail bar built out over the sea. Breakfast had a good selection - from fresh fruit to cooked breakfast and freshly made omelettes - something for everyone. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a room at the back overlooking the town with mountain views and evening sun - great for wine on the balcony. The only drawback being you would hear the binmen at 5.30 each morning - other than that it was quiet. Sea view rooms at the front would be considered the best rooms! The hotel really is central - plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. If you have a hire car there is free parking close by - but not at the hotel itself. Clientele varied in age there were a couple of young children with parents, but mainly older people at this time of year. All-in-all we had a good stay here and would recommend it for most people.

Nice hotel with lovely pool.

Posted 31-Aug-2016
Pros: Everything - especially the 1959 architecture with a modern twist in furnishings.
Cons: More wooden umbrellas beside the pool. Material ones are inadequate.
Location: Hotel is on the pedestrian paseo with pool and beach just across from it. Public bus stop a couple of minutes away with tourist office besides it.
My first solo holiday since rpthe death of my husband and I could not have chosen a better resort - felt safe - easy to explore - plenty of resturants. Hotels position perfect and the pool was a real bonus! My single room on the 5th floor was good with a huge bathroom and walk in wardrobe! View over the mountains and part of the coast. Breakfast was a feast if one wanted to part take!
