Stunning property but not a perfect stay
The space itself its absolutely stunning and each independent structure offers enough space and privacy for a large group to not feel on top of each other. VRBO lists check in time as 3:30pm, we arrived at 3:20 and were yelled at by the property manager as she didn’t want us to be there until 4. Her kids were swimming in the pool and she was pretty aggressive. Ultimately we were allowed to stay but it was very uncomfortable. Upon arrival we were also told that there would be no housekeeping for us as we booked prior to the price increase so this wouldn't be included for us even though it was clearly stated in the listing. Later that evening the property manager threatened to send the police to the house if we didn’t send our passport pictures to her immediately even though she had never asked before & didn’t ask for them during check in when we were all together in person. We also had a few broken showers which we asked to have fixed multiple times, maintenance did come but these were never fixed. We also had clothes stuck in the washing machine for 3 days before maintenance was able to open it up. My last criticism is that i reached out to the property manager 60 days prior to our arrival to ask about grocery provisioning & arranging transportation to and from the airport etc. My request was ignored in our chat. They then reached out the day before arrival addressing my requests which id already arranged as I couldn’t delay organizing the above for a group of 12.

Perfect gathering space
I booked Jose’s place to celebrate a family event. It was perfect. The property was so peaceful and more than met all our needs. The only thing was the road in and out limited our coming and goings, which in the end was a blessing as we stayed on property most the time. I highly recommend.

The best holiday ever!
We booked this to celebrate my 70th birthday, it was a resounding success. My 3 grown up children and partners with their own children, 13 of us, had the most relaxing and enjoyable fortnight together this stunning property set in an even more stunning location. Peaceful and secluded, very tastefully decorated and furnished, spacious....... The ideal place for a large family group. Thank you Jose and Gabi, and Rafa the chef who came to cook my birthday meal. We enjoyed ourselves so much, didn't want it to end 🌄

Amazing Villa/Finca near Port de Soller
Valle de la Luna was an amazing property. It was perfect for our big group. Having separate bungalows and rooms was perfect so there was separate space for the babies to nap and a huge communal house for everyone to gather. The rooms were beautiful, the pool was amazing, and the private chef, Rafa, that we hired for a night was incredible. You have to hire him at least one night. You won’t regret it. This Villa had everything and more, including spectacular mountain views. Highly recommend this finca!

We, 8 adults, 4 children abd an infant had a wonderful week at Valle de la Luna. Four separate houses was an eccenent choise for us. The kitchen was well aquipped, good for a family that loves to make food. Gabi was helpful in every way and we even met the host Jose with his wife. The houses and the garden is beatifully decorated with many tastful detaljs. One inconvience is that the path down to Port se Soller is a bit hard to walk stony and steep. I recommed the property for different groups as ours with three generations.

An amazing stay
This finca is a gem- such a beautiful place. We loved the pool, and used the BBQ area most evenings as the sun was setting over the mountains. The owner was very responsive and accommodating, communication was excellent. A 10min drive to the beach of Port de Soller or ~20min walk down a trail. I would highly recommend an SUV type vehicle as the last 7min of the road is very rough and mountainous, but we got used to that after a couple of drives and it was not a problem. Thank you Jose and Gabi!

An amazing property located in the mountains but with easy access to other attractions.
We stayed for a week in this fabulous Finca - four adults and two children. We had asked for the pool to be heated as early June was still cool in the mornings and evenings. Our thanks to Pilar for a prompt and positive response to ensure this was the case, making it a lovely 250C and meaning the small children could use the pool over a long day without getting chilled. Accommodation in the two houses was excellent with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and sunbeds around the pool and beach toys. The accommodation layout of five ensuite double bedrooms over two houses provides plenty of space. The house with two bedrooms has a kitchen area with direct access to both bedrooms. The third house has three double bedrooms, but these are all separate rooms with no adjoining access or any kitchen facilities. If adults or older children are staying this layout might be ideal but with younger children in the party, it would have been helpful to know the property room layouts in more detail in advance. The large external kitchen area provided a good barbecue, fridge, utensils and a large dining table. Gabi the caretaker is a huge asset to the property and was very helpful on things large and small. We had no car on arrival, but she helped us find the only taxi that would drive up this track. Steep, winding, rough and if another vehicle is coming the other way, some hair-raising reversing. We advise using a 4-wheel drive as the track up to the house is challenging. Once you are there, everything is quite perfect. Peaceful, beautiful and very well-equipped. The property has great WiFi, good washing machine and drying facilities and a lovely older resident cat, Fred. We were asked if we minded feeding Fred twice a day and we all enjoyed this activity. Fred, who is no problem, quickly worked out that he could get extra food by asking us all. We enjoyed our time there very much and did the 20-minute stony path to Port de Sóller a few times - take heavy duty shoes. The alternative walk to Sóller takes 50 minutes and lots to see enroute. You can then take a tram back to Port de Sóller and walk back to the house. The Port has a fabulous beach and lovely restaurants. Once you have managed the access issue, the property is quite stunning with space, trees, garden and an amazing pool. Our thanks again to Pilar for a prompt response on heating the pool and especially to Gabi for help with everything else.

What a lovely property. Great views and everything we needed. Loved the outside kitchen and all the little extras provided (needn’t have taken so much). The track up isn’t great so tended to get back early in the evening. Pool wasn’t heated so little ones found it too cold which was a shame (think the pool engineers didn’t fancy the drive up!). Hopefully will be sorted if we go back (which I’m sure we will).

Lovely property, extremely spacious, we were 2 families, each had their own space. Gabi was very helpful. short walk from the sea, and to Soller, lots of other great walks nearby, and short drives to everywhere including the airport, Valdemossa etc. Great bus service to Palma. Thanks very much!!

Lovely stay in the peace & quiet, both houses well equipped and comfortable. Swimming pool loved by all of us and the views are amazing. We recommend, just make sure you are prepared for the drive up to the house on the trail. The walk down to the port is only 15-20 minutes.

Paradise nestled in a valley
We were 6 adults and 4 children. We absolutely loved our 2 week stay. The swimming pool was the high point for the children. The accommodation was very good and spacious. We could have had another couple with us quite comfortably. The only slight drawback is access to the property which is by a very rough dirt road/track. Despite this, we had 3 cars and all managed to go out sightseeing or to the beach daily without too much bother.

Magnificent and luxurious houses and garden!
We stayed at Valle de la luna with 2 families with 4 kids and grand parents and couldn't be more happy with our stay. The garden and pool area were great for kids, the bbq area magnificent for dinners outside, and the housing perfect with separate sleeping areas but common social areas for having dinner and breakfast all families together. Lorena, the manager, was very accommodating and prepared a great welcome for us and was very helpful during our stay. The garden and houses were super nice and luxurious, and the whole place felt very luxurious. Also, highly recommend the private chef Rafael which you can book to prepare breakfast and dinner for you. We had Rafael for breakfast once and dinner twice, all which were out of this world and Rafael went over and above to provide some of the best food experiences of our lives. If you stay at Valle de la luna, you got to get Rafael to prepare dinner and bbq for you, I promise you won't regret it

My special birthday !
I booked Valle de la Luna for a week of birthday celebrations with my sisters and my friends - we had a truly wonderful time. The property is very special and is in the most beautiful setting - we instantly relaxed. I had chosen to be close to Port Soller as it is a place we love and it was amazing to be within walking distance of the port and all the restaurants. The path down is definitely a bit rocky but with trainers or good footwear it's no problem and it's a lovely walk. Taxis were at times a problem as some taxi companies refused to drive down the unmade road, while others were happy to do it - it's actually not too bad, it just requires slow driving! Lorena, the concierge, was extremely helpful and my request for a food delivery the evening we arrived was no trouble for her - she even set it out beautifully, ready for our arrival. We are all very much hoping to return to Valle de la Luna next year!

Alles tip top. Angefangen bei Gabi (Verwalterin) bis hin zur Ausstattung. Wir hatten mit 8 Personen eine grandiose Woche und haben uns bestens erholt. Gefühlt weit weg von den Massen braucht man doch nur 15min bis zum Strand. Schaut euch die Webseite an. Es stimmt alles. Es so wie gezeigt. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und wir planen schon wieder zu kommen. Vielen lieben Dank an die Eigentümer und ihre Helfer.

Le paradis sur terre!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez El valle de la Luna, la proprieté-composée de petites maisons individuelles avec chacune sa salle de bains-est tout simplement parfaite!. Le domaine est trés grand, piscine, aire de ping pong, badmington, barbecue, potager...le tout entouré d'une vegetation soignée et trés mediterranéenne (oliviers, ciprés, orangers...). Le design des chambres et des parties communes est de trés bon goût, le mobilier est trés qualitatif également, trés bien fournie en lingerie, serviettes, eau minerale et produits de cusisine (glaces, eau minerale, café, sauces, épices), Le cadeau d'une petite bouteille de cava fut trés aprecié, la cuisine ultramoderne fut un régal pour notre cuisinier, le barbecue exterieur également. Climatisation dans toutes les dependances parfaite et grande piscine d'eau légerement salée agreablement chauffée, il y a même un espace laverie pour le linge et un coin "sport". Ce fut un séjour parfait pour nous (groupe de 8 adultes et 4 enfants), juste un bémol: le chemin d'accés meriterait une meilleure signalisation, mais une fois qu'on y arrive on n'a plus envie d'en sortir!

Splendid acommodation
Valle de la Luna is indeed a fantastic place, both inside and outside. The houses/rooms were all in very good condition and well suited to our large family, and the outside area is situated in quiet mountain sorroundings with a nice pool ares, a functional outdoor kitchen and a lot of space. We had a great stay!

Inmitten der Natur, Ruhe und Entspannung pur
Unsere Familie hat im Valle de la Luna einen perfekten Urlaub genossen. Der letzte Kilometer der Anfahrt ist holprig, man muß nur langsam fahren , dann kommt man gut im Tal an. Saubere, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer in 2 Häusern, alle mit Bad en Suite, Ventilator und Klimaanlage. Die kommplett eingerichtete Außenküche mit Geschirrspülmaschine, Webergrill und Kühlschrank direkt gegenüber vom Pool war unser Lieblingsplatz. Aktive nutzten die Tischtennisplatte, spielten Boule und entspannen danach in der überdachten chill out Zone. Oft ging es abends über den Wanderweg zu Fuß nach Port de Sóller, Sonnenuntergang schauen, essen gehen... mit den im Haus vorhandenen Taschenlampen war der Rückweg problemlos. Die kleine Innenküche, auch komplett ausgestattet mit Esstisch für bis zu 10 Personen nutzen wir nur an einem Regentag. Perfekter Urlaub naturbelassenem Valle de la Luna.

Paradisisk refugium for familieferie
Vi lejede huset i en uge for at være sammen med vores familie bestående af ti personer fordelt på tre generationer. Det viste sig at være den perfekte ramme for netop den type ophold. Huset er en slags camp med tre separate bygninger. På den måde kan man fordele sig optimalt i forhold til behov for privatliv mv. Det overdækkede udendørskøkken med en kæmpestor spiseplads udgør det naturlige centrum sammen med den meget store og rene pool. Alle dele af huset er yderst velholdte, velfungerende og veludrustede. Kort fortalt: Huset har alt! Dertil kommer at indretning og møblering er usædvanlig smagfuld og kvalitetsbevidst indvendigt som udvendigt. Alt er rent og pænt, og poolen blev renset flere gange under vores ophold. Som en yderligere bonus er der en stor have med frugttræer og krydderurter, og fra bjergskråningerne kan man høre en charmerende ringlen af klokker fra fritgående får. Udsigten gennem dalen og de fjerne bjergtoppe er betagende smuk. Den paradisiske stemning gør at man bærer over med stedets svaghed, nemlig vejadgangen. Man kan kun ankomme til huset i egen bil, og vejen er meget lang, smal og snoet. Den sidste strækning er en temmelig hullet grusvej. Det betyder at al indkøb og affaldshåndtering kræver bil. Hvis man er fit, kan man dog sikkert erstatte bilen med mountainbikes. Der er en vandresti til Port de Soller, ca. 20 minutters gang, men den er meget strabadserende og ikke fremkommelig med småbørn eller høje hæle. Vi kan varmt anbefale stedet, dog særligt til folk der ikke har det store behov for at tage på udflugt om dagen og spise på restaurant om aftenen. For et selskab som vores, der gerne ville være tæt sammen en uge på et par småbørns præmisser, og som elsker at lave mad selv, var det absolut perfekt.

Valle de la Luna has been for us a unique mix of a really authentic and strong place and the most comfortable and cozy facilities. That valley that you cannot stop looking at all they long. That contemporary monumental sculpture that plays with the landscape. Being so close to the pedestrian walk, Soller, the beach.... What else can you ask?

Die Realität übertrifft noch die schon vielversprechenden Fotos. Gaby, als die gute Fee, ist immer hilfsbereit und ihre Kultur-, Restaurant-, und Wanderempfehlungen sind Gold wert. Die modern, praktisch und anspruchsvoll ausgestatteten Wohnhäuser integrieren sich durch schlichte Eleganz in die gepflegte Parklandschaft. Das klimatisierte Schwimmbad, die Chill out-, sowie die gelungene Barbecueanlage garantieren gemeinsames Feiern, die Weitläufigkeit des Valle de la Luna bietet jedoch auch Orte der Ruhe . Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Hemos pasado 5 noches memorables en el Valle de la Luna. La ubicación es perfecta. Hemos disfrutado de una tranquilidad absoluta y de un entorno incomparable. Todo ello a poca distancia del Puerto de Soller, Deiá, Vallermossa, Fornalutx, etc. La casa principal es sencilla y cálida, la zona de barbacoa, estupenda y con todo lo necesario, las habitaciones, muy acogedoras y coquetas. La piscina, de agua algo salada y sin cloro, espectacular. Todo decorado con muy buen gusto. Una estancia innolvidable. Volveremos!

Rigtig skønt sted med vidundelige omgivelser. Fin pool, meget velholdt. Vi nød at være der. dejligt med aircondition på alle værelser. Fint udekøkken, som vi brugte hele tiden. Dejligt med levering af frisk vand flere gange ugentligt. Desuden sæbe til vaskemaskine mv. det kunne have været godt med en gang rengøring midt i forløbet. Vi var der i 14 dage.

Die Anlage ist ein Traum.
Die Lage ist mitten in den Bergen. Abgelegen, aber dennoch kann man in 15 min über einen Wanderpfad in den Port de Soller laufen. Die Aussicht ist wirklich traumhaft. Es gibt zwei Wohnhäuser, die nicht direkt beieinander liegen. Jedes Zimmer hat sein eigenes Bad und bei der Ausstattung wird wirklich alles berücksichtigt. Die Draussenküche ist ebenfalls voll ausgestattet inkl Weber Grill. Alles ist gepflegt und sauber.

An oasis in the paradise
After a period of very hard work we needed a few days of relax. I wanted to have time to enjoy family and friends. And I can say that WE FOUND IT !!!! Such a place cannot be in the middle of a city or by the side of the road, but that's no problem if you want to have time for yourself. When we arrived, and saw the space organization we loved it, but once inside .... Ugh! Hard to get out of there! The house is very well thought out, organized in detail with all luxury of facilities. From the water jug on the bedside table, to the games, cupboards, crockery and aromatic herbs at the entrance to the kitchen for cooking. The space is huge!! It is the ideal place for children to run around to their liking in a controlled environment and one can sit and listen to music, read, chat, spend time, contemplate the nature and the beauty of the Sierra de la Tramontana. Ideal to be with all when you want and be alone when you wish. We wanted to stay with friends and family so we were two families together, and the truth is that we could not choose a better place for the children to play between them and we could be well alone or with friends depending on the moment. To emphasize the zone BBQ + Pool .... I have to see how to do the same in my house !!!! I can not go back to live without this area ...... A space where on one side you have everything you need to prepare the best BBQ of your life, refrigerator for that cold beer that always goes well, all the BBQ utensils that you can Imagine, dishwasher not to move dishes, romantic light for the night, ...) with a huge table to eat all together and enough distance from the pool not to disturb but to have the children controlled. A magnificent meeting point where there is nothing missing. And when I wanted to be alone or in small company, I rested in a hammock in a corner of the garden; While others played pin-pon, cards, petanque .... All at once and without bothering each other. AMAZING! Regarding the rooms, they are very spacious, with an elegant and relaxing decoration. It is the materialization of "the less is the more". Comfortable beds, large sinks .... They are like 5 star hotel suites. The enviroment is idyllic. At night, you hear the frogs while you look at the stars. And in the morning, you see the Sierra de Tramontana with that peculiar light of the islands. A dream! The place is even better than we had expected with the pics. I am 100% convinced that we will repeat !!!!!

Amazing
It has been an amazing week! The house fulfilled perfectly well what you see on the website but the surprise was that the reality was still even better. We enjoyed the beautiful garden every day because we had a wonderful weather and we were even able to organize some very entertaining barbecues. Soller is a really beautiful town but we had trouble leaving the property… we were enjoying it so much!
