Don’t judge a book by its cover. Meaning- the outside of the building and dark entry was off putting. We did have to check in a hotel nearby which was just fine. But be aware. The hallway with the room was spotless and the room nice and clean. Decor could be upgraded but the space was great. There was a closed restaurant below us - in the summer that might be a nuisance

What an absolutely delightful surprise. From the outside, a rather normal looking house in a smaller Slovak city, but on the inside, a small but very service minded team, and very large and spacious rooms. Food was exquisite, both dinner in restaurant and the breakfast was made fresh from a breakfast menu, probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in over 10 years. Definitely be coming back here again soon.

"Hotel was noisy. People running up and down the corridors all night making a racket. On check out the hotel staff ran after us accusing us of not paying the tourist tax, which had been paid when checking in. Not impressed!"
