The staff are very helpful in pointing you to local attractions. The continental breakfast is reasonable for 2 EUR and coffee is complimentary. The screens on the beds aren't perfect, but they work as well as can be expected. It was busy, but quiet at night while I was here. Overall, a good stay.

Great place in Malaga
The staff at The Lights go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. They cook a delicious 3 Euro meal every evening to enjoy on the rooftop. Great place to meet people! It is a bit loud between the noise from the street and other guests but that is to be expected being near the city center and it is a bit of a party hostel, but not too crazy as the rooftop closes at 11pm. Would def stay again!

This is definitely one of the better hostels I've ever stayed at. The service was great and they are very good at getting people actively involved in experiencing the area. They had free tours and cheap drinks and every night they would make dinner on the roof. They were also very clean

The best hostel! Amazing staff who provide free dinners and sangria each night. The vibe at the hostel was just what I needed during my stay in malaga. Pub crawl each evening which is a nice way to get to know other travellers

Happy Vibe!
This place has a great vibe, with friendly and helpful staff, kitchen facilities, common room, chill out area and a roof terrace with barbecue. They offer s continental breakfast for €1.50 and a free small meal on the evening. I gave this hostel a 7 out of 10 instead of a 9 out of 10 for 2 reasons; It was cold in the dormitory and also quite noisy from the traffic outside which caused me to book elsewhere. Maybe it was just my room!

All Staff are friendly and helpful Well located and within 5 minute of the shopping district, bars and other local amenities. Central Train station is only 10 minute walk away providing easy and cheap connection to the airport.

Good atmosphere, free food and snagria on the rooftop terrace everynight. Staff were very nice, located quite near the centre and very walkable. Only downside is that the entrance is slightly hidden away and might be hard to find at night after travelling. Highly recommended.

the bed is quite comfortable but the blanket is a little bit smelly. The shower room is ok. The free dinner and a cup of sangria are also nice.

All was great, even better than expected.
Very nice personnel and hostel super well maintained. Situation : easy access by train coming from the airport (end of the train line) and in the middle of the center of the city. Nice roof top supper if you want to participate. Cosy lounges. Am ready to go back !

Favourite hostel so far that I extended!
The staff are amazing they go above and beyond to accomodate and welcome you! The atmosphere at this hostel is brilliant, the $2 dinners in my opinion were always very tasty! Everything from the cleanliness of this hostel to knowledge of the staff was above and beyond the pennies that you pay to stay here! I would highly recommend.. also if you have a free night the pub crawl that leaves from the hostel at 11pm is always a good option $10 and you gets free drinks in each place you go aswell as entry into the club .. .. I loved this place so much that I extended an extra few days xx

Great staff and wonderful atmosphere. Arranged trips with friends I made there to local sites. Favorite was Caminto Del rey. Location is a little hard to find initially but once you do you are very happy for its locale.

Surprising place - for a hostel - the private suites for non-hostel people are splendid - and breakfast for 1.5 Euros !!! AND an evening 'supper' , Chilli , for 2 Euros !! Amazing & Great !! Only criticism -- no TV programmes and no UK channels !! Incredibly convenient , adjacent market , easy to find , 200 metres from airport bus , 150 metres from Larios Street !!

Great hostel
My favorite part about this hostel is the bunk beds that are almost like a little oasis. They have a curtain, and I could be in there with privacy although I was sharing a room with 5 other people. The en-suite bathrooms are nice, and I appreciated that there were other bathrooms on the floor as well if I needed to use it while mine was being used. The free sangria every night was also fabulous. The staff here was kind and willing to give recommendations as well!

Impressively well-thought out
I was really impressed with this hostel. I had a shared room (which I'd never done) bit it was really well-designed so each bed had a light, access to plug sockets, privacy curtains, a little shelf-thing for personal effects, and a locker. Also you could pick which bed you wanted (at least if you arrived before other people) so weren't stuck on the top bunk if you didn't want to be. Staff were very friendly, spoke very good English, and even help me rescue my phone where I'd managed to drop it into the bed at 4am!

Great location, within walking distance of the city centre a land the port. Friendly staff. Nice rooftop bar
