Have stayed here many times and will again

Posted 11-Aug-2016
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Great seafront location, very handy for restaurants, good transport links. If you like mini golf make sure you go to the Blue Kiwi Mini Golf nearby.
The Torrequebrada is a great hotel for a family holiday. It's facilities are excellent and there are lots of activities if you or your children want to take part. We only stayed on a bed and breakfast basis but the breakfast was first class and the staff are always very helpful. The location is excellent with stunning views. There are some great restaurants in walking distance the hotel is on the main bus route to Malaga and Fueringirola and either a 30'ish minute walk (or a 6 or 7 Euro taxi ride) from Benalmadena Marina.

Nice hotel with the sea view

Posted 17-Jul-2016
The hotel is positioned right by the sea, but the little beach there by the hotel is not great. We've had a wonderful view from the terrace. The bedroom (executive suite) was quite big and spacious with plenty of storage. Bed was very big and comfortable. Huge living room with the table and chairs, two sofas and a coffee table. Bathroom was quite big with big bath and shower overhead. Air conditioning working very well. Hotel staff was okay, reception staff was very helpful and cleaning ladies were lovely. Restaurant staff was okay, we had to wait a while to get served drinks with lunch and dinner, bar staff seemed moody at times. Food itself was okay, but not great, quite a variety of fish and meat and salads. The evening entertainment was quite odd, flamenco dancing was very good. Overall we had a good time, but couldn't stay there for more than a week as I'd get too bored.

Overpriced

Posted 17-Jul-2016
Pros: Clean rooms
Cons: Clean the drains
Location: Bit out from the main centre
Hotel has a drain problem - really smells on the lobby floor. No tea or coffee making facility in the room. Staff friendly. Don't buy drinks in the Casino. 11 euros for a JD and coke! Most reputable casinos reduce drink prices to keep you playing/ This one rips you off everywhere.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The Pool Area having a good clean with algae around top of water mark in pool
Location: You had to travel
Just returned from this hotel but I cannot say I think it should have 4 stars rating, more like a 3 or 2 star. Rooms and some of the public areas are looking tired. The food in the restaurant was cold but there was a microwave to heat it up if you wish to, eggs were cooked in bulk and left to go cold on a luck warm hot plate. Complained to the Management who spoke very poor english, never saw the Management in any of the clients areas pool, dinning room only in the reception. States an all inclusive hotel. Only 1 bar and pool bar all inclusive on a limited number of drinks and only small measures unless you payed for them you have to pay at all other bars in the Hotel. Pool was in a dirty condition with dirt and cigarettes end lying around never saw it washed down in 10 the day stay. The big problem with this area there was only one pool attendant to clean / give out towels / carry chairs for wedding parties and this was the problem throughout the Hotel lack of staff. If your looking for an all inclusive hotel , then look else where

Good hotel, nice resort

Posted 19-Jun-2016 on Hotels
Good hotel with bars & restaurants etc within walking distance. Rooms are spacious although a little dated. 2 pools plus a kids pool & plenty of sun loungers.
