Casino hotel,

The receptionist didnt give us the message from when our shuttle bus driver is planning to pick us up. Had to go to the reception at last minute myself and he found the urgent message somewhere on his desk.

No internet, overcharged breakfast buffet

Posted 02-May-2017
Pros: Spectacular views
Cons: Hotel should sell their all inclusive packages on Expedia, there really is no alternative at this location.
Location: Nothing, thats the problem.
There was no internet service in our room When I tried to report it to reception noone answered the phone in the reception Had to stand in line for 30 minutes to report it. Lunch buffet was 19 euros, would not allow me to have water with my meal. Internet was not fixed the next day. Went back and stood in line again to report it. Had to spend almost 20 euros from my data plan. No fixed prices on breakfast buffet, internet said 15 euros but staff charged 20 euros, no receipt. Poor quality ingredients: canned fruit on the fruit buffet Next day internet had still not been fixed. Facility is geared to all inclusive food plans and large tour groups. There are no nearby restaurant alternatives

Far from 5-star hotel

Posted 18-Feb-2017 on Hotels
Well situated hotel as base in the region although local area not very interesting.Buffet breakfast was mediocre quality despite fairly large selection. Junior suite was spacious with lovely coastal views but furnishings were very tired (stained coffee table, sofa missing back cushions, wooden chairs falling apart). Front desk help was pleasant and efficient.

Have stayed here many times and will again

Posted 11-Aug-2016
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Great seafront location, very handy for restaurants, good transport links. If you like mini golf make sure you go to the Blue Kiwi Mini Golf nearby.
The Torrequebrada is a great hotel for a family holiday. It's facilities are excellent and there are lots of activities if you or your children want to take part. We only stayed on a bed and breakfast basis but the breakfast was first class and the staff are always very helpful. The location is excellent with stunning views. There are some great restaurants in walking distance the hotel is on the main bus route to Malaga and Fueringirola and either a 30'ish minute walk (or a 6 or 7 Euro taxi ride) from Benalmadena Marina.

Nice hotel with the sea view

Posted 17-Jul-2016
The hotel is positioned right by the sea, but the little beach there by the hotel is not great. We've had a wonderful view from the terrace. The bedroom (executive suite) was quite big and spacious with plenty of storage. Bed was very big and comfortable. Huge living room with the table and chairs, two sofas and a coffee table. Bathroom was quite big with big bath and shower overhead. Air conditioning working very well. Hotel staff was okay, reception staff was very helpful and cleaning ladies were lovely. Restaurant staff was okay, we had to wait a while to get served drinks with lunch and dinner, bar staff seemed moody at times. Food itself was okay, but not great, quite a variety of fish and meat and salads. The evening entertainment was quite odd, flamenco dancing was very good. Overall we had a good time, but couldn't stay there for more than a week as I'd get too bored.
