As we have checked the main reason you could not stay in the same room is because you booked a different type of room, the second reservation was a groundfloor room by the pool as indicated in the name, your previous reservation was a sea view room. We still had a few rooms free that day but not enough availability to offer a free upgrade we are sorry you had to change. To guarantee the same roomtype consider always booking the same type of room, otherwise there is no guarantee to stay in the same room. We hope to have you again with us. KInd regards

The smell you refer to is a smell of a freshly cleaned apartment with curtains, sofa, sheets freshly washed by the laundry. It is the first time any guest complaints about clean smell.
