The Duplex has two bedrooms with a double bed (one bedroom is on the second floor), a bathroom with a shower and a living room with a dining table and a kitchenette with all utensils and appliances. It also has large French balcony-style windows. The duplex is on the second floor WITHOUT the lift.

The apartment was very well located away from any noise but within walking distance of amenities. 5 minutes walk to the closest restaurants and 10 minutes walk to the shopping areas and the various attractions. The port and beach were 15 to 20 minutes walk. Only one small issue was that the air conditioning was a little smelly but this was resolved immediately once the host was aware of it. Overall a great few days and will definitely visit Malaga again.

Lovely location, just at the periphery of the old part of town. It was easy to get to from the train station, and the check-in office was helpful. The place was clean, well-stocked with everything we needed for our extended stay. The loft was wonderful, though we did not use as much (being older and have knee issues) and it is a steep staircase. An intermediate visit to change our bedding and linens was also greatly appreciated. Would definitely come back to stay again - the city was great fun and this was a great place to be based at.

⭐ 0/10 – DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY | ONE OF THE WORST STAYS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED I stayed at La Dolce Vita Duplex, managed by Living4Malaga, for two nights and three days after booking through Expedia. Unfortunately, the property was completely different from what was advertised. The photos, description, and location information are extremely misleading. The problems started before entering the apartment. The building entrance and staircases were dirty, poorly maintained, and had cockroaches present. There is no elevator, making it difficult to carry luggage up several flights of stairs. The apartment had a strong, foul sewer-like smell that never disappeared throughout my entire stay. No amount of ventilation or air freshener helped. The smell remained constantly and made it very uncomfortable to stay there. The cleanliness was unacceptable. The bed linen, pillows, and cushions were stained and I found what appeared to be blood stains on a cushion. The bed frame was damaged, with the material ripped and coming apart. I also experienced bites and marks on my body that appeared to be from insects. I have photos and videos documenting these issues. The property is misleadingly advertised as a duplex, but it is actually a small apartment converted with a bunk-style sleeping area above the living space. It is dark, cramped, and poorly lit, including the bathroom.The Expedia photos make it look much larger and brighter than it actually is. AVOID BOOKING THIS PROPERTY!
