Just 15mins from Alto Pass was perfect. We had a cozy stay in the Merica themed cabin, quiet, clean & pet friendly. Great communication from the host made our stay easy & stress free.
Cabin was clean and comfortable. Host was easy to get in contact with and helpful. Location was great as it was less than 10 minutes to Carbondale but still in a quiet country setting.
The cabin was nice. It had enough room for me to relax in after a day with family or in Shawnee National Forest. The area felt very safe and there was no ouside noise. I will stay there again.
We loved this cute, cozy, comfy cabin. Just the right size for a couple - not too big, but not too small either. Very quiet location, wi-fi worked great, comfy bed, water temperature/pressure for the shower was perfect. The entire cabin was very clean. Loved the Americana decor and the small basket of snacks added a nice touch. Looking forward to staying again sometime.
This place was absolutely amazing, very clean, super nice, check in was no hassle, host was very attentive and responsive to any questions. the cabin was beautiful. Close to lots of hiking and things we wanted to do. Will definitely will be returning.
Pros: convenient location; quiet; clean cabin; very comfortable
Cons: hard to find in dark of night; not informed of change in entry key code, but quickly solved with phone call to owner.
Scrupulous cleanliness, thick towels and toilet paper, a comfortable bed, Americana decor and a well equipped kitchen lent to a general air of welcome and comfort. We enjoyed the benefit of the kitchenette and grill, walked in the golf course and used the opportunity to see Giant City, the John A. Logan museum in Murphysburo and to lunch in Anna with our son. Steve, the cabin host, was very easy to communicate with as well.
A very nice cabin. Quiet, clean, nicely furnished, convenient access to Carbondale. In Cabin#6, nice morning sun through windows. Everything worked well. Bed was very comfortable, didn't take very long for hot water to come out of faucet shower (very nice during this colder time of year). The basket of snacks was a nice unexpected surprise. Tap water tasted great.
This was a great isolated spot to stay during our three day camp. Its close to most places I needed to be but away from the busy traffic. The cabin is very nice and well kept. I didn’t realize there isn’t an electric oven until I arrived. I learned to cook bacon and eggs in a microwave. :). They have a nice gas grill on the balcony. They put a lot of work into making this a great place to stay. Right down to the Citronella candle on the outdoor table. I will return next year. The price is much kore reasonable compared to a motel. Thank you for a great experience!
The place was great for our needs and as advertised. Very near to beautiful hiking and some nice wineries. The bed was not very comfortable, but everything was great.

It was a great alternative to a standard hotel room.
Very good location on the wine trail and a cute & cozy cabin! The cabin is a nice alternative to a hotel for a weekend away. There were a few bugs, but nothing too bad and nothing you wouldn’t expect in an area surrounded by woods.
