"We had issues from the start - partner has very bad knees and back ... we didn't know that villa was so far away from the carpark for luggage transfer etc. Were greeted with the guttering hanging off the front of the porch and a front door that had been drilled and patched but not painted. Very dodgy. All windows inside were sealed shut so no fresh air except for a verandah sliding door ... had to live in air conditioning which is not great for chronic sinus. Kitchen cupboards done on the cheap...

"The property had spiders in the bed and cockroaches in the living room and kitchen. For two out of the three days of our stay, the AC in one bedroom was not working. It was fixed on the third day after several calls, but the housekeeping manager did not apologize and mentioned that, being in the countryside, there aren’t many handymen available. Additionally, we were unable to use the hotel facilities since this is a privately owned villa, so the kids couldn’t access the swimming pool or kids...

"Great location and beautiful views. Well stocked with all that was needed. Maintenance needed as not one halogen light worked in the loungeroom. Upstairs in main bed ensuite the Tastic or heating lights were also blown. Bath had petals or insect wings or something that looked like it still left in when we arrived as well as dead cockroach. I don't think housekeeping cleaned it. Also half dead vase of fliwers on coffee table. Otherwise, the place is great. Would stay there again. "
