Charming 4-star Gite with pool

"Moulin Neuf is a beutifully restored and charming property in a peaceful and scenic position. It is well equipped and tastefully furnished with everything we required. Lauren has made a beautiful job of the interior woodwork which highlights its previous use as a barn. It is well positioned close to Monpazier which I would rate as one of the most beautiful towns in France. Various trails and paths are nearby for those keen on walking. It has its own pool which was a reasonable size, clean and heated for those early morning or evening dips after a hard day at the market. The grounds are spacious with trampoline and table tennis for the kids or the parents (if they want to make fools of themselves). Lauren and Cecile are great hosts and gave us a warm welcome. Whether you want a base to explore the rustic beauty of the Dordogne or just a tranquil relaxing setting in which to enjoy your wine and foie gras I would thoroughly recommend Moulin Neuf."

"Gite in a lovely, peaceful location, just a couple of miles outside of Monpazier and many interesting and scenic places to visit are just a short drive away. Cécile was very welcoming and the gite is very homely, clean and well maintained. The gite is well equipped but the addition of a couple of fans would be a good idea. The pool was lovely but didn't use it as much as we would have liked as there was a lack of shade. Much time was spent on the covered decking where we enjoyed listening to a huge range of birds. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the rooms large, the dressing room had ample room to store clothes. It would have been good if there were more cleaning equipment e.g. dish cloths, surface cleaner etc. We would certainly stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday."

"Een prachtige vakantie in Capdrot We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in dit prachtige huisje in het bos van Capdrot. Het huisje voldeed volledig aan de beschrijving en aan onze verwachtingen. Alles is aanwezig om volop te genieten van “la douce France”: rust, natuur, comfort en een heerlijke omgeving.Ook het contact met Sophie verliep bijzonder aangenaam. Ze was steeds vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zowel de check-in als de check-out verliepen heel vlot en zonder enige zorgen.Een heerlijke plek om even helemaal tot rust te komen en te genieten van het Franse leven. We komen hier met veel plezier op terug! "

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Monpazier. Nous avons adoré le village situé à 10mn à pieds avec tous les commerces de proximité de qualité et particulièrement accueillant. La fermette est bien équipée et se situe dans un bel environnement calme. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Sylvain de la conciergerie qui a été réactif à nos demandes."
