"This hotel was built 200 years ago but it is so well maintained. The view of mountains behind it is amazing. Very good and cozy place to stay near acadia national park. Although the hotel is around 60 mins away from the park hotspots but commute is easy. The staff is very friendly too."

"Hot tub is great, breakfast is good (hot foods, waffle makers, etc), location is weird (in a field next to a farm type property and right next to truck stop, not really in or super close to Bangor but we were aware of that ahead of time). I wonder if carpet replacement would help with the strange smell present throughout the hotel including in rooms - it was hard to get used to at first but eventually we got used to it. Overall enjoyed our stay for a short time as we were passing through the area."
