It was lovely we stayed for 2 nights for our wedding. We stayed in the Balfour suite. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was great too. Really made our wedding extra special having such a nice place to get ready and to come back to after the party

We had a lovely 😍 stay in room called Leslies reserve. Good size, bed comfortable, shower refreshing and great decor...plenty tea and coffee in room. Breakfast great all staff very pleasant and attentive. Only downside it was a hot night and the room had no fan. Will book again

The room was beautiful and the staff really welcoming. The Tickled trout has a lovely garden and bar with a great menu and a really good breakfast. I will be booking in again next month.

This has been on our bucket list for years so we finally got here for our 41st anniversary and we weren't disappointed. Our meals were lovely, well presented and very tasty. Our room was lovely, clean and tidy. Staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly. I also have to mention the Balfour lager, it has a distinctive taste and is way better than all the usual eurofizz generally available. I'd recommend the Trout as a place to stay to explore the local area.
