Krabi is incredible, definitely go. That being said, I loved Koko Hostel but it’s not for everyone. Older building, run down amenities, leaky water connections everywhere. Koko does a great job of bringing people together, lots of hostel sponsored events and gatherings, I’ll be back for sure!

Most everything was perfect and the staff were always super wonderful. A couple minor areas for improvement would be that the air conditioner in our unit did not respond to any thermostat controls so every other hour you were either freezing or baking . which sucked while trying to sleep. Also the food at the resort could deal with a look at ways to improve the quality and selection. BUT over all, we loved walking around the grounds, seeing the reptiles, bats, birds etc. We found the staff to be great. The bed was comfortable. We found the perfect place to spend each and every morning sitting above the beach. It was a wonderful experience and we will likely return to this resort in the future (Our unit was M45 in the back of the property)

Loved the rooftop pool. Plenty of sun loungers for everyone.

Good value for the money. Location is ok. Close to markets, and other food options like carts and restaurants. 7/11 next door. Short walk to the pier where you can take a longboat to Railay Beach or a tour through the mangroves. Meets basic needs of a hotel, but nothing luxurious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free coffee (instant) and fresh local fruit was put out each morning… that was a nice touch.
