"Stayed at the Sofitel Zamalek and overall had a great experience. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast buffet at $30 was fresh and varied, and the location is fantastic—safe and convenient. A heads-up: airport transfers are now $110 USD, which is way overpriced—Uber is a much better option. Prices across the hotel have gone up, and the online menus aren’t updated, so be prepared for that. Despite that, the service and comfort made it a solid stay."

"The small hotel is on the first floor. There is no lift but the steps are easy to manage for an aged traveller like myself as there are rails.
