Everything was so cute at this hotel. It is in a historic building that has been tastefully modernized. The central courtyard for the restaurant/hotel is a highlight. The bed was very comfy. The only thing I would strongly suggest is that the hotel reach out to guests in advance about how to drop off your bags and where to park for accessing the old town, including costs and if cash will be needed. (This seems to be a recurring theme in Transylvania.)

Amazingly preserved and renovated historic property right at the wall. Perfect location to get to old town and to the train station without having to battle with a bag on cobblestones. Room was clean, quiet and cozy. Patio was charming and a great place to unwind. Breakfast room and bar area were quaint and cozy, lovely to eat breakfast with a fire roaring on a rainy and chilly October morning. Staff was very friendly. Greet stay, highly recommend.

Hotel Central Park is very centrally located on one of the main roads and is easily one of the better hotel options in Sighișoara, so I would still recommend it overall.
Some of the disappointment came more from the city than the hotel. The fortress had great potential for a standout Christmas market, but heavy regulations limited vendors and made the experience feel underwhelming.
We were not informed in advance that the main restaurant would be closed on Christmas Day for a private event, despite communicating our holiday stay. We were seated upstairs instead; the food was okay but not memorable, and there are better dining options in town. Service was inconsistent—when ordering a hunter’s charcuterie board, the server couldn’t explain what meats were being served.
We stayed in the presidential apartment, which was clean, very warm, and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. However, a neighboring room had a noticeable sewage odor, which was disappointing.
Overall, a solid stay with room for improvement in communication and service.

Nice pension in the center of Valea Mare
"Nice pension in traditional mountain style. Our room was very nicely decorated and we had our own balcony. Our bathroom was equipped with a luxurious shower. Very warm and helpful hospitality. Ample breakfast. We also had dinner for 8 EUR per person, which was traditional Romanian and also very ample. ..."
