"Had an excellent stay at the star hotel. The staff were brilliant. So warm ,friendly and welcoming on arrival . Quite being up a side street. But has excellent location being thirty yards from city centre high street. And Forty yards from main bus stops.

"This was an impromptu stay as we had a power cut and needed to have guaranteed access to wifi in the morning. The room was a suite with kitchen facilities (hob, sink, microwave and fridge) and was very well equipped.
As I'd booked on the drive there at 9pm the sofabed wasn't made up when we checked in, but housekeeping arrived at the door within seconds of us reaching the room and made the bed up quickly. A great sleep for all, and a lovely shower in the morning. Would choose this hotel if I needed to stay in the city overnight again. "
