"We stayed a single night with our 4 sons (10, 18, 19, 21) and had a great time! We were able to walk to local shops, restaurants, and the beach. Having free access to their beach equipment (surfboards, boogie boards, beach towels), outdoor showers, putput golf, free parking were amenities that set them apart from the rest! While breakfast was very basic, we do plan to stay there again in the future because of its convenient location and being walkable to anything you might need."

"This was a great property in a great location at a very reasonable price. It was convenient to walk the short distance to the beach and to walk to restaurants and shops. We did not have to worry about finding a parking spot since there is an attached garage. The host was easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to questions and concerns. We will definitely stay at this property again."

"First trip to Southern California for me and my wife. Stayed and played in Carlsbad and the place was a perfect choice. Our place had everything we needed and even some special appointments that made the trip even better. Super grateful for the extra effort to help us stay comfortable during the heat wave. We settled in quickly. We spent a lot of time at the beach. The walk was no more than five minutes and through a very quiet neighborhood. Perfect location to walk into Carlsbad and Carlsbad Village. Great food, great bars and some good shopping. Truly appreciated the beach gear. It added to the experience and let us enjoy the beach even more than we thought. It was a great trip and we hope to return."

"I think the first thing you need to know is this property is not glamorous. It’s borderline falling apart. There is nothing nice inside. The kitchen is borderline unusable. The laundry is communal and not in the unit and you’re not even supplied laundry soap. The furniture is super cheap. The access to the beach for the public is right next to you so you have strangers walking back-and-forth.It is a triplex, and the walls are paper thin. It sounds like the other people staying there are inside your unit.I had unreasonable expectations about the interior would be. However, the beach itself is phenomenal. The sunsets were stunning. The access to this beach from this property was amazing. They supplied lots of beach toys, which we loved.I would come back and stay here again, but just know that you’re paying for access to the beach and the beach itself. The property is not nice. It needs a lot of upgrade, and it would be nice for this amount of money if things in the kitchen were nicer, that kind of thing.Location 10000/10.Actual inside of property … 5/10"
