We arrived 2 am in a late flight . There were 6 of us staying in a 2 bedroom 1 sofa bed .
The check in staff were friendly and I asked was room prepared for 6 people and he said yes .
When we got to the room upstairs sofa bed wasnt prepared and there was no linen
We called Downstairs and the staff brought linen up 15 mins later
Then they tried to leave the room and asked “
Do you need help making the bed?” Paying £420 for a night and I don’t expect to make a bed at 2am - they should have been forward thinking and had this prepared
The hotel overall was ok. Getting a bit tired . I’ve stayed at many melias and overall a good brand but this one needs some tlc
Breakfast was decent - 7/10 .
I wouldn’t rush to come back but I wouldn’t strike if off either if I had to stay somewhere .
An ok experience but Melia as a brand you can definitely do better ! Your other hotels have been a much better standard.
