Conveniently located, at a walking distance from El Prado, shopping, dining and local markets. Excellent neighbourhood. The hotel is quiet and the staff very helpful. The room is pleasantly decorated and impeccable! Very safe place that would recommend to anyone including inexperienced travelers. Last but not least, very affordable for such a great neighbourhood!

We do recommend this property in Madrid if you like to visit places without long walks up to a mile or so, every interesting place to visit is very near.

The hotel was not clean...our room had used toilet paper..no clean toilet brush..there was fluff and hair blowing around in the corridor...communication with the one man who seemed to be working there was met with a shrug of the shoulders. Amazing Building but in need of a bit of TLC
Amazing building, great service, but the rooms need bringing into the 21st century. Very dated, however exceptionally clean and we slept well and enjoyed a decent breakfast in the morning.

Good value old school hostal
Pleasant, central, quiet, kindly let me arrange self-service breakfast at 7am (normally 9). Room a bit small (ditto bath) but excellent value for money. Excellent place to stay walking the Ruta Teresiana.
