The location is great and the apartment has nice natural light, but this is a one of many Tourist apartments that is managed remotely by a distant investor. Check in is at 3pm and there is no alternative to leave luggage. They "recommend" a service that is 20 minutes walking that you have to pay apart (14 euros for 2 pieces). At 3 pm, you painfully walk uphill under 36 Celsius for 20 minutes. Same thing with checking out: 10 am with no options. As for the apartment itself, bed was comfy and wifi was ok, but there is not even a packet of salt or sugar in the kitchen. The coffee pods were for a different machine so that was useless. As for decoration, expect 100% IKEA...including a print of the Big Ben and a London cab in the room because "that's what you would expect to see in Madrid downtown?", I guess. How's that for local flavour! It is to no surprise more and more cities are rejecting short term rentals. They used to be a nice way to connect with people but they are just money makers. But hey, if it works for you, go ahead..

This is a fantastic location! Everything you need is a block away: grocery stores, gyms, Metro access and lots of restaurants. Check in was easy and uncomplicated. The customer service here is excellent. We spent 2 weeks here and we’re going back for another week before we go to France. Property managers are very helpful and quick to respond to questions. I’ve been to 38 countries and this is one of the top 3 condos I’ve stayed in.

The apartment was a great size, clean, comfortable, and very easy to access from the metro. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay for the week.The only downside, which genuinely surprised me, was the lack of basic supplies. When I arrived, there was no toilet paper in the holder, just two very small rolls wrapped in plastic. Since I was staying for a full week, I reached out to the contact person. Their response was that the “welcome kit” only includes two rolls and that I could purchase more at a nearby shop.While this may be their policy, it felt unnecessarily penny-wise and pound-foolish. Supplying an adequate amount of toilet paper for a week-long stay seems like a minimal courtesy, and it would have made the stay feel more thoughtful. A small improvement in this area would go a long way.
