Room was clean but in poor condition. The air conditioning unit did not work properly and could not cool the room. The WiFi did not connect to the internet thus rendering our mobile devices useless inside the building. There are holes in the bathroom floor and obvious signs of water damage/holes in the ceilings. The property is in a very accessible area of Madrid with excellent location to major attractions and public transit stops. Attempts to resolve the internet issue with the owner and property management company went unanswered, leaving us to sleep in 25-26 C sleeping conditions.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Our stay got off to a terrible start and never recovered. We arrived right at check-in time and still hadn't received any instructions from the host, even though I reached out three hours beforehand. We were ignored until we were already standing outside. When he finally responded, the check-in instructions he sent were wrong. We ended up waiting outside for two hours until he came in person to let us in. During that time, every message I sent got a "one second," followed by 20–30 minutes of silence. He sent us to the wrong door multiple times, the wrong lockbox multiple times, and gave us the wrong code multiple times. It was exhausting and completely avoidable. Once inside, things didn't improve. The floor had broken tiles, the ceiling was damaged, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. Between the disorganized, unresponsive host and the poor condition of the place, this was a horrible experience overall. I wouldn't recommend staying here
