"The staff were very helpful and kind! My two friends and I stayed here for the Whistlestop race and it was a great location. Just about a 10 minute walk from the finish line and where the buses pick you up to bring you to the starting line. Also, great views of the lake! Wonderful place, I highly recommend."

"Beautiful location within easy 5-10 minute walking distance to downtown Bayfield shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Madeline Island. We were there for peak fall leaves color. The view of the lake, the island, the small marina, the trees, and the sunrise from the cozy furniture on the deck outside our door was amazing. It is a motel, so there is the potential for noise from the vehicles that park outside the rooms, but it was a non-issue. Our stay was peaceful, pleasant, and perfect."
