"Good location, friendly staff. Just a short bus ride from the station."

"Second visit, great stay. Warm welcome by staff -at reception, breakfast and the leisure area, all very professional. Loved the breakfast buffet and setting, and enjoyed the use of leisure facilities. Plenty of parking, and great location to find. You do need a car/taxi if you plan to eat outside the hotel. Room was very comfortable, and we were complimentary upgraded to one with a view. If I was being really picky the one thing that would have improved the stay is a revamp on the jacuzzi - it was much colder temp than the pool itself, and the jets were poor - perhaps just need their nozzle directions adjusted. Other half loved the sauna and steam room whilst I was swimming."

"The meal we had for dinner the sea bass with spring onions and supposedly with cauliflower purée was terrible. The skin on the fish was not crisp, the onions were Pretty raw and there was no cauliflower purée and it was very very greasy - would not recommend it. The hot water for breakfast to make tea was lukewarm."

"The floor in the room didn't look as if it had been hoovered and the window had no handle. Otherwise nice room, large, comfy bed. Barman was very helpful."

"Good place, clientele was well over 50. Very quiet. No AC so can be warm at times but the sea breeze helps as does the fan. Classic English seaside experience"

"Recommend this hotel. Staff friendly, very clean. Bed an bedding clean an comfortable. Food quality excellent. Plenty on the menu. Two downside things. Traffic noise. An stairs. Overall a good stay, in the city. Thanks to all the staff."
The Burlington Hotel

"Great hotel on a moderate budget. Wonderful food but room was a little old fashioned and tired. Bar closes early so not great for evening chats/social time. Location was great for amenities and breakfast was great but terrible weak coffee and £4.50 extra for a proper cappuccino/latte."
