The hotel is nice, but quite old. The room was certainly not worth the 4-star rating. The food was good but not exceptional. The staff were courteous, but, due to several different teams working there, some things were overlooked (for example I was not told that, on a specific evening, there would be no dinner before 8:30pm - to their credit the restaurant staff did make me a sandwich at 7:30pm, as I did not want to wait until 8:30pm to eat). Having the tennis courts and pool available, as well as a lovely beach, was very convenient.

This is a beautiful property however we were there at off season (Oct 3). Bartender was not overly friendly which resulted in us seeking a restaurant outside the hotel rather than stay at hotel. Check in was AMAZING!!!! Breakfast and service was also AMAZING! The property is someone secluded and the village restaurants although highly rated we’re closed for the season.

Great staff and hotel! Just a few minor things they should fix: wifi must get much better, and we had flashing lights above the door in the room that you shouldn’t need to deal with in a 5star hotel.

"I couldn’t ask for more, such a lovely little cottage in the most perfect location. The house has everything you need, modern and new. Literally 3 feet out the door is the Tyrrhenian Sea, in all it’s clarity and deep turquoise and blue. Despite a couple days of rain, it was very comfortable and enjoyable. ..."
