My philapino friends did not feel comfortable there. The management objected to small boys being naked in the pool. When one friend asked for a drink the owner suggested that it would be cheaper to buy it outside from a street vendor. No phone in the room no mirror in the bathroom. Hole place was not kept up and clean. No simple amenities like hot water maker or coffee in room. No car service at all and your in the middle of nowhere you have to offer some kind of transportation. The road leading back to the hotel was rocks and stones and they didn’t even offer us a simple ride to the main road with all our luggage. The water that came from the shower and sink smelled like sewage. I quit taking a shower and could not brush my teeth afraid of swallowing it. Wholes in the sheets. Half the plugs didn’t work. Had to unplug the lamp to charge my phone and all this for the same price I would have paid for a room in boracay. Way overpriced. You can tell they don’t care about that place anymore and just sucking ppls money that don’t know. First impression is good with reception area looking through to the outside eating venue that overlooks the bay. Although the beach is made up of small stones rather than golden sand, it is wuite possible to swim there. The pool was undergoing maintenance whilst we were there but it was obviously a nice place to relax. We were there for a friends 40th birthday party and the ambience was perfect. The grounds are kept in immaculate condition. We had a Cabana that was comfortable and reflected the beach situation. Breakfast selection was good and the food well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. This was our first time at the Resort and we will certainly be returning to have a long weekend there. It is ideal as a “get away” for a family particularly with young children.
