Mackintosh Church

We enjoyed our stay with one exception. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Hot water was available of course in the adjacent shower, but washing hands after using the toilet and cold water didn’t seem adequate. Breakfast was delicious, parking was plentiful. And as a bonus, there is a delightful cat named Gio. He was friendly and cuddly, and added to our enjoyment of our stay.

The location for us was excellent, walking distance from many fine coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants near the university, and easy access to bus and subway. Our room was exceptionally quiet, facing a quiet neighborhood off the main street. Our room (with a double bed) and the bathroom were very compact, a bit of a challenge with multiple pieces of luggage for each of two guests, but very clean and tidy. Every person on staff that we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I loved it from the moment we walked in to the moment we love. Staff were amazing, decor was divine, very thoughtful design overall. My only complaint is that the room was extremely dusty, but that’s a very easy fix 😉
