About this property
The Gallery
The Gallery was once the barn attached to the farmhouse and the loft where the hay once was is now where the four poster bed stands. The conservatory entrance was once the entrance for the cart. Open to the ceiling it is a favorite with couples.
The Gallery is a barn conversion open up to the ceiling. The balcony bedroom looks down over the living area which has a multi-fuel stove. There is a conservatory with seating overlooking the garden for tea and breakfast in the morning.
The visitors have access to the 5 acre garden surrounding the Cottage. There is a washer/ dryer for people to use for a nominal fee.
The manager is only a call away, and the site manager is there in the morning and evening.
The Gallery is the perfect cottage for couples with an old world charm, with oak beams and floor boards. The ceiling is open to the roof which gives it a hall type feeling and the thick stones walls keep it warm in winter with the wood burning stove. The Gallery conservatory looks out onto the main lawn and is just the right spot to have some tea as you gaze down the valley. The birds will entertain you as you relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
There are trains and buses from Machynlleth, 10 mins away, but you will need a car to access the cottage and free parking is provided. You would need to hire a car at Manchester, London or Gatwick airports.
There are great places to visit locally, including King Arthur's Labyrinth, Devil's Bridge, the university town of Aberystwyth, The Center for Alternative Technology with everything green and of course the picturesque market towns of Machynlleth and Newtown. Sandy beaches at Aberdovey and Borth are perfect for fun filled days with the whole family.

Cold tap in the bathroom doesnt work, fire doors dont shut and the chimney seems to be blocked, wifi doesnt work are just a few problems we had that were in the visitors log unchanged from 10 years ago. Dog friendly as long as they dont go upstairs however theres no baby gate. It says fenced garden but its not fenced on all 4 sides, its also communal which i didnt know until arrival. When stripping the bedding we noticed dried up bugs.
