Farmhouse Retreat on Mangerton Mountain

"My friend and I stayed here with the intention of experiencing Ireland outside of the city and it greatly exceeded expectations. The house was open and comfortable without losing it's farmhouse charm. What I didn't expect was how many truly nice experiences were nearby. Our focus was a home base while we did the Ring of Kerry and a bit of country exploration but it is oh so much more of that. The nearby town of Kenmare has incredible food and ample shopping. Hotel Killarney

"Hotel Killarney is a great hotel. The staff are friendly enough, the hotel and rooms are spacious, the amenities are great and the hotel itself is sprawling with many corridors that makes it feel like the Shining (in a good way!). The staff were very accommodating and the check-in/out process was very simple and efficient! The room was clean, with enough trinkets to keep you satisfied with lots of space. It certainly does the trick!"
