"Stayed 4 nights. Check in was easy and evening clerk very nice. Carpet was full of white dog hair. Had to request carpet to be vacuumed the next morning. One area still had hair but we didn’t ask again. We didn’t realize that we would not have service for fresh towels & trash removal during our stay. Had to ask for fresh towels/wash cloths daily and one night no washcloths available for a bit. The safe did not work.
Continental breakfast was ok but minimal and mundane.
Several of the employees could use some behavioral training in front of guests. One of the clerks spoke very loud and when talking to other workers about personal issues we could clearly hear things such as “I told her that wasn’t any of her business.”. Nor was it ours. We heard one gentleman using the “f” bomb on several occasions. Once with another man standing in the laundry room.
The rooms could use some updating and repair. Our bathroom needed a new baseboard."
"I called the reservation line to get the number for this facility- (Maybe post it somewhere?)The shower was clogged and they fixed while I was at a Graduation. I like the no- contact policy."
"Some things were nicely kept and some were not. Mold in the shower on the silicone edges no extra pillows or blankets. TV guide was very confusing. Breakfast cheaply made and no flavored creamer for coffee. Bacon wasn’t really bacon. More like slivers of fat. Water was $8 to purchase there or walk down the road to a convenience store for a better deal. Sketchy neighborhood if you needed to walk in the evening. Lots of deals going on behind buildings. Check in and out was seamless as long as you didn’t need to go to the front desk for anything. Then they wanted you to fill out paperwork. Weird."
"When I arrived, even though I had a reservation confirmation on my phone, there was no room for me. The desk clerk said I did not have a reservation in their system. My email from Expedia told me that I did, and I showed it to the clerk, but it made no difference. I was out in the cold without a room. I had to make other arrangements after driving 11 hours to get there."
