"Lovely camp, placed inside Masai Mara Reserve, right on river Talek. Our VIP tent was placed directly on the river so we could see hippos regularly. Camp stuff is great, very king and helpful. Food was excellent, far beyond our expectations. We are vegetarians and we didn't espect such a great food. VIP tent is quite spacious and comfortable, with nice terrace. Hot water was available all the time. WiFi was working in common aeras, but we barely used it. Considering price/quality rate, this camp could be one of the best options in entire Masai Mara. Highly recommended!"

"The location is absolutely unique and amazing, settled on a hill with panoramic views of the Maasai Mara plains, from each room. I was able to observe Elephant herds, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Warthogs from my room. What impressed me the most, was the frendliness and professionalism of the staff. They made me feel very welcome every minute of the stay. I approached the desk with a few requests (e.g. to change my room) and all of them were solved without hesitation to my full satisfaction. "

"Great hotel had the best time ever here. Location inside Masaai Mara is perfect in a place with lots of animals around and the cheetah Brothers&lions regularly are seen close to the hotel. Masaai Mara is definitely a prime safari destination with the best game viewing and nature around. The "tents" are luxury rooms with a very nice private deck space and ensuite bathroom. Matrasses a bit hard but that's Kenya standard, they will give you extra blankets to soften the matras when needed so no worries. Big pool(unheated), many activities and every night a show or something else to experience like traditional Mara dance. The hotel is good wheelchair accessible and they have a adapted tent&toilet. The food served in the restaurant is excellent very high quality and many choices, you can taste they grow their own vegetables. Nice live music during dinner and indoor and outdoor seating. The private outdoor dinner is a must when celebrating a special occasion we will never forget ❤️ They also make nice lunch boxes for free on request if you ask the night before so you can stay in Mara all day without having to go back for lunch. The thing this hotel makes exceptional is their wonderful staff and there efforts to make you feel at home. Always friendly, happy and trying to make your day better. From the hot water bottles in your bed placed during dinner, to helping you with whatever you need or a happy talk nothing is unpossible. We will definitely recommend this hotel it's a experien"

"Far from the crowded flea bag hotels, this property is pristine and right in the heart of the Masai Mara. You will not find a place more suited to your dream safari than Ashnil. Get the game drive package, you will not regret it. "

"My friend and I stayed at the Kempinski for two nights midweek...and it was amazing. We were picked up at the airstrip and given a mini game drive for about an hour until we reached the camp. We were greeted with a traditional Maasai welcome (complete with singing and dancing) and a refreshing tree tomato drink. It was so unique! They also had a hand washing station and a temperature check screening. All staff at Olare Mara wear masks and the dining staff wear gloves too. There is hand sanitizer all over the place...it made us feel safe during our stay. Our tent was glorious. We were in Tent #9 along the river. The tent was luxe, clean with lots of extra amenities - rainboots, bathrobes, umbrellas, mosquito nets, surgical masks and a clawfoot bathtub. Meals are usually 3-4 courses and were overseen by the FABULOUS Moses, the restaurant manager. He was DIVINE. He remembered our favorites and anticipated our needs, even making sure we had fresh bread (which they make onsite!) and hot dawa every day. He was extremely attentive and fast. Truly exceptional service. Alcohol was not complimentary but was top shelf. A nice bottle of chardonnay was about $45. Highly recommend this resort."
