We had an amazing experience overall. The service throughout the resort is outstanding, with staff who are consistently attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food was another highlight of our stay - particularly at the Taste buffet, where the variety and freshness were exceptional. The marine life is also incredible, with so much to see, making it a truly memorable destination. Room service was excellent as well, with delicious food delivered promptly every time at no extra charge. We also really enjoyed the pool bar - great service and a nice selection of snacks and ice cream made it a lovely spot to relax.

Beautiful property with top notch service, good food, cocktails, wine list, and amenities!

The room was spotless and cleaned. All the staff are great and helpful. They always say hi and ask if you need anything. The amenities is limited but there are plenty of activities to do. Highly recommended the spa. All the restaurants are great except for the restaurant Limo. We sat down for drinks and ordered our meals. We waited almost two hours for our food while we watch other guests comes after and got their food before us. By the time we got our food, the pasta wasn't cooked well and some of the food didn't taste that well. We've ordered dessert as well and it took well over 30 minutes to an hour and we didn't get our dessert because we got tired of waiting plus we're exhausted. We were there at 8 pm and stayed there until 11pm. Best place to eat is Yama, Taste, and at the pool bar. Overall, it's a great experience.

Disappointing Value

I recently stayed at Baglioni Resort Maldives, but unfortunately, it did not meet the expectations set by its “luxury all-inclusive” label. For $8,500 over six nights, I expected a much higher standard, particularly in terms of dining and service. The dining experience was far from luxury, with several items on restaurant menus not included in the all-inclusive package. There was also a shortage of basic items like sugar-free soda, unavailable for half our stay. Despite daily reassurances it would arrive within “2-3 hours,” it never did, which was more frustrating due to the false promises. Service overall didn’t match the price. The minibar, advertised as complimentary and replenished daily, was refilled only three times during our six-day stay, each after we contacted our assigned host. The restaurant waitstaff were inattentive, and something as simple as getting coffee at breakfast could take over 10 minutes. It seemed like either low service standards or under-staffing, despite being told it was low season with only 60% occupancy. This was my third visit to the Maldives, and the least valuable of them. There are far better options available. The only consistently positive aspects were the housekeeping staff and Nadeem, who met us at the airport during both arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth experience. For those seeking true luxury, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno indimenticabile al Baglioni Resort Maldives: tutto perfetto, dal servizio all’accoglienza, con un personale incredibilmente sempre gentile e disponibile. Un ringraziamento speciale va ad Ambe, che è stato il nostro punto di riferimento per ogni cosa, sempre con professionalità e cortesia H24. L’all inclusive va ben oltre le aspettative con la possibilità di vedersi servite colazioni, pranzi e cene direttamente in camera senza alcun extra fee. Indimenticabile anche la cena organizzata per il nostro anniversario, la più bella che abbiamo vissuto finora: tavolo speciale in spiaggia, servizio privato e atmosfera magica, anch’essi senza alcun costo aggiuntivo. Tutto ciò ci ha davvero lasciati senza parole, quasi impossibile da credere se associato poi ad un servizio di così alta qualità! Il livello di pulizia della camera e degli ambienti è meticolosissimo, così come la qualità del cibo, sempre sublime, al punto da sembrare di mangiare ogni giorno in un ristorante stellato. Anche il reef è ben mantenuto, con una splendida varietà di pesci e coralli che rendono ogni snorkeling un’esperienza memorabile. Il livello di cura e attenzione ha reso questa vacanza unica. E, nonostante tutti i viaggi che abbiamo fatto, posso tranquillamente dire che questo resort si è guadagnato il nostro podio. Ciao Baglioni… non è un addio, ma un arrivederci perché chi lascia in un luogo un pezzo di cuore, prima o poi ci torna❤️
