M'Zizel is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit is during the shoulder seasons of spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is most pleasant for exploring.During spring, the desert flora comes to life, and the temperatures are comfortably warm, typically ranging from 20-30°C (68-86°F) during the day. This is an excellent time for outdoor activities like camel trekking, desert excursions, and exploring the local oases without the intense summer heat.Autumn also offers agreeable weather, with similar temperatures to spring and clear skies. The cooler evenings are ideal for enjoying traditional Moroccan hospitality under the stars. This period is also great for hiking in the nearby Anti-Atlas Mountains or visiting the date palm groves. The summer months (June to August) can be very hot, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F), making daytime outdoor activities challenging. However, if you're accustomed to extreme heat and plan to spend your time relaxing by a pool or exploring in the early mornings and late evenings, it can still be a great option, often with fewer crowds.Winter (December to February) brings cooler days and cold nights, with temperatures sometimes dropping close to freezing. While daytime temperatures can still be mild enough for exploration, you'll need to pack warm clothing, especially for evenings.
