My dad and I stayed one night during a roadtrip around Vänern. We got a room on the ground floor in a side building, and parked (for free) right outside. Perfect! The hotel was centrally located, close to the city center, ICA and all the sights. Our room was clean, modern and spacious. The beds were way too soft for us (never experienced anything like it), but we otherwise slept like the dead. Our room faced the back, so we felt safe sleeping with the window wide open. Apart from the seagulls it was very quiet. Breakfast was included: on the small side, but with high quality and served in the cozy restaurant. The bread was a disappointment though: we were looking forward to freshly baked bread (as advertised) but it was dry and definitely from the freezer.

Ett litet mysigt hotell. Bra läge med kort promenad till centrala Strömstad. Allert personal både i receptionen och restaurangen. Bra rum och riktigt sköna sängar. Stort badrum. Allt väl städat.

Litet men med charm och kvalitet.

Mysigt litet ställe med sin egen charm. Trevlig personal och utmärkt frukost. Lite störande ljud från vägen utanför men inte fördärvande. Balkongen var inte städad vid incheckning, tomburkar och glas med fimpar, annars rent och snyggt. Litet och med begränsat svängrum vilket oxå framgick av beskrivningen.

To netter i juli 2024

Et koselig lite hotell, hvor vi fikk en varm og personlig velkomst. Veldig hyggelig betjening. Maten var nydelig. Det eneste vi savnet var en salong! Siden rommet var veldig lite, hadde det vært deilig å sitte i en behagelig sofa, som kanskje også hadde et tv i nærheten. Vi satte oss i baren, men det var ikke så tilfredsstillende, pga. travle servitører og spisende gjester. Kanskje det er på plass til vi kommer en annen gang? Da må der nok bygges ut, men muligheten er der. Ellers hadde det vært hyggelig med kaffe tilgjengelig 😊 Men som sagt, vi hadde et koselig opphold på Villa Solviken, og kommer gjerne tilbake👍 Hilsen Henny og Trond
