Sleazy, dishonest owner. Made a reservation on Expedia many months in advance for the night priot to the eclipse. Called 10 days before to confirm and was told they didn’t have my reservation and that they were totally booked due to the eclipse. Their listing "said stay here and "you can walk to the eclipse".Expedia confirmed that I had a reservation and called to intervene. At that point the owner told Expedia "Oh, we are closed due to renovation until April 10th." So they obviously wanted to rent my room at a higher rate upon realizing there would be a huge demand for the eclipse. Thankfully, Expedia was wonderful and found me another room in a another town and paid the $400 difference. Kudos to Expedia!

Christmas vacation
The hotel was better than expected, the front desk ladies were very friendly and polite. Hotel was clean and very well lit. The only complaint we had was the beds were very hard other than that it was excellent

Not worth the price
Had to travel up North for a one night business trip. Room was large, bathroom was old, had some discoloration of tiles, floors, and shower curtain. Bed was absolutely the worst I've ever slept on in any hotel ever. Sleeping on the road would have been more comfortable. Room TV required 2 different remotes to operate. Nearby room played the TV exceptionally loud for the 11 hours I was there making sleep nearly impossible. Complained to the management in the morning. No offer of remediation for bed or noise. In speaking with the locals, they were very aware of the hotel's living accommodations and conditions and offered several recommendations for future trips. Would NEVER return. Would be more comfortable sleeping in my car.

Clean room, quiet location. It's an older hotel and somethings need updated for sure. The faucet handle for the sink broke off, luckily the water was off when it happened. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Clean but not Tidy
The check in went ok , prefered lower level but assigned upper level. The next morning we met the cleaning lady and asked her to just please tidy up the room and change the bath towels and wash cloths we had used . Upon our return there 9 hours later there were no new towels or wash cloths and the bed looked untouched . The room seemed clean upon our arrival and the bed was comfortable . When it was checkout time the person at the desk was busy taking a reservation on the phone which took too much time due to a credit card problem . Behind this person where fellow employees talking never asking to help out or even acknowledging me .

Don’t stay here if you value your health
The smell of smoke was unbearable and UNHEALTHY for all, especially for anyone with compromised lung issues. We stayed one night on our way to Quebec but chose another motel to stay on our way back.

Not worth the price-Down on its Luck
The place is run down and creepy. The balcony is crumbling. The room was clean but very down on its luck. Said non-smoking but it reeked of stale smoke. stains on the walls, very hard beds on metal frames. My real issue with this place is that I had to pay $150 when the value was about $79.

Great experience. Only negatives were, 1. No coffee maker in rooms, had to go to front desk to get coffee and at 5 AM in the morning it was just warm, 2. TV stopped working. The girls brought us another one and that didn't work either so they brought another one, although it was a little smaller it worked. I don't understand all the bad reviews on this site.

Clean, but..
The room was clean and there were plenty of towels. Only one tiny soap for two adults. Also, no coffee maker in room, coffee in the office but no continental breakfast or snacks and a vending machine that "we're trying to get rid of it because it isn't very good. This was a 100 a night room at best but cost us quite a bit more so I was expecting a bit more compared to other places

The front office says it is under construction but I didn;t see anything going on yet it still has a rundown appearance. Quite dated. The room was okay but there was a bit of a funky smoky smell even though it was a N/S room. Maybe it was time to replace the carpets. I also stubbed my toe twice on the metal bed frame which was not enjoyable. Conveinent for access to the interstate and going into town but definitely needs some work done on the building

My room was clean but shabby. Literally everything in this entire property needs to be renovated or replaced. There's a sign on the door to the effect of "excuse our appearance, we're making improvements" but it's clear no improvements are being made.
